i would love to consider that idea. the park itself is in a unique area so lots of opportunities.

Mike, if time permits I may like to join you. I just bought a new Digital SLR and would like to become more proficient with it.

On Saturday we will have a special member of the FCU stop by for a visit. Dale "Pee Wee" Schwamborn will be arriving at the rally on Saturday morning. 50 years ago on that date he would have been in Cairo, Egypt as the long trip across Africa was coming to and end.

The weather looks like it couldn't get much better! I just spent 6 days in Seattle and was SO happy to get back to AZ.

Alas, from the look of things right now, there's no way we'll be able to make it to the rally -- because we won't be able to make it out of this valley -- because we won't be able to tow the Airstream out of the park. We'd already lost much of our road last week, and it's snowing very hard right now. This really, really, really sucks.

L&M,
If I could will you a plower and sand truck, it would be DONE...I hope the weather will change, and the roads become dry...(we also have another baggie of ring-pulls to get rid of...)
Ya just gotta get outta there...but we understand, since Silverton is under more snow...our neighbor sent us a note asking if we had made arrangements to have our roof raked...not a good sign...we'll keep a light on, just in case...m&t

Oh, I'll be out on the tractor again tomorrow, but from the looks of things here near the house, it isn't going to be much fun ... or too much worthwhile. Lordy, we're really tired of the winters here.

We, uh, could actually use that snow here right about now, what with the Olympics ready to go and them trucking in snow from various other mountains/peaks. Go ahead, send it this way for two weeks, we will even take your used snow (no yellow though).

Bummer you are trapped once again.

Oh, I wish we could send it up BC way! I had read that you folks were short on the stuff. Typical el nino thing for us: Too much moisure. Does the same effect that gives us a lot take it away from you?
