There are more knots then fish. I like to keep it simple with a basic clinch knot. Clinch Knot

My experience with kids has taught me that the only way you can really look foolish to them is if you DON"T try to look foolish...they're pretty smart puppies...learn together...
Amen to that, but I do keep them entertained.

Thanks Richard, that does look like something I can do without hooking my ear. Can't wait to get to Dead Horse and get started.

We're leaving home on Thurs.

Debating whether or not to boondock Thurs. night or staying at Deadhorse.

Anyone else in a similar position?

I believe there are a few of us that will be rolling in to DH3 about noon or thereabouts on the 12th. If you get there early and don't want to boondock there are some sites across the road that have electric and water. Looking forward to seeing everybody again and meet some new A/S folks.

We're planning to be there Thursday as well...probably mid afternoon. Looking forward to see y'all again...and also those whom we've not had the pleasure of meeting yet!

Lynn,

That photo you posted is gorgeous.

Thank you for sharing that for those of us trapped somewhere else.

For those of you making the trek safe and happy trails.

We are going to leave on Thursday evening around 5:30pm Sergio has a meeting and I will pick him up around campus and we will leave from there. I love parading the AS around ASU. Leave the light on for us as it will be dark when we arrive.

This year, I may honk my HORNS in reply...hope the steering wheel one doesn't get stuck like it did at Thanksgiving...
Milo, ya didn't wake me, I was tryin' to put a light in the window, but the margieball had impaired my window finding ability...the diesel brought it back...er...uhm...Do you have a diesel...?
Might have been the batteries in the hearing aid I don't have...
We'll be there Thursday, before dark, so if you don't beat us, you may have to wait while I unhitch the toad and back out of the service entrance...'least it won't be raining, this time(I hope)...
Got a couple of Yule logs from our neighbors, will scavenge the rest...
