I'll try to be first...I know which spot to grab...hey, Richard, Is that neighbor of yours still upset about the black water 'incident'...?...more important, is he armed...?

Thanks for the generous offer...we'll take you up on it...would like to be out of here tomorrow, but if the predicted rain is anything like yesterday, we'll wait till Tuesday to depart(if we don't sink into the soft turn-around)...Still have to pick up mail, dump, and gas/propane up, then get someone's hair cut...uhm, is your neighbor, by any chance, gone...?...I could save some time...

Mike - My neighbor is a firefighter and works 24 hours on and 48 hours off. You have a 1 in 3 chance of him not being home.

Milo - Plenty of room in front of my house.

Looks like were going to have rain on the weekend Maybe we will luck out and that will change.

Since my fridge still doesn't work I pack it with newspaper and leave the door open when in storage. Thinking of turning it into shoe storage!

Just checked weather for Cottonwood, AZ and it is light snow at the moment. We'll be there Friday before noon.

The weather all around the Four Corners area is trying to be nasty. It is trying very hard to snow in SW Colorado but so far we haven't had much accumulation and the roads are all wed but nothing sticking. Supposed to clear out of here Wed. morning which is when we intend on leaving. We will join up with some folks in Gallup and caravan down with them. Should be in mid-late afternoon on Thursday.

Good news! I was worried that you weren't going to make it after talking with Lou this morning and she said it was snowing. See you there!

Hey Honey, it's 2:00, can we go now...?

Hey Richard,
We are about to leave Q-town...right on time...but your neighborhood doesn't have to worry, now.
Raining lightly here...I'll try to bring it with me...

Late to the table...

It's been up in the air whether we could come to the rally this year. But, as it looks now, I will be coming on Thursday and Rosemary will stay home with Marley.

With a bunch of new camera toys, I'm looking forward to spending as much time as possible photographing the landscape around Sedona. Is anyone else interested in a day or two of shoots?

Planning to drive up sometime Thursday early enough to secure a site in the hook-up loop nearest the group area.

I was thinking of using mine for a new SPAM recipe . Kind of along the lines of stinky cheese from France. I'll call it Fromage de SPAM and rather than truffles which I think are a fungus, I intend to use a more indigenous species. Certain to delight the palate and cleanse the gut.

We just spent this last xmas in Carrizozo, NM with 5'' on the top of our rig. A little drafty in the front from the battery boxes (drain holes and cut outs for cables was a straight pipe into the rig) but we got that fixed in Jan, otherwise it was real cosy. Full propane tanks and it will be like something out of a Bing Crosby xmas special. Empty tanks or a dead battery and you are talking a Tim Burton special. We like the former (Holiday Inn comes to mind).

The fix was sealed batteries, plugging the vent holes, and insulating the battery boxes. The only thing I am mildy concerned about is the reports of black ice on I-17 and arriving late that night.

I am going to go out on a limb here...

I will guarantee that the weather will be better then I had this past Memorial Day Weekend in the White Mountains.

Positive thoughts, please...

You can borrow my pink fuzzy flip-flops...only worn twice, and the feet were pretty clean...for a TTQ...
Made it as far as Goodyear...windshield wiper blade came loose, the only nut I had on the rig to fit the screw(now, be NICE) fell out of my wet fingers while I was balanced on the top of a short stepladder, and, quite frankly, hid from me...I pulled out the duct tape, and when I went back out for round 2 of the acrobatics, the nut had come out of hiding...got it on, got back in the rig, and the door handle broke when I was shutting the door......it has been a day with Murphy riding the rig...will descend on Richard and Jan tomorrow, then a quick side trip to the pawn shop before they get home. Staying at Cotton 'something' RV and Golf Resort...don't think I'll do the golf course here...rain, wind, and...oh yeah, it's dark...I had to settle for a L O N G stint in the hot tub, and an even longer shower...LOOK OUT, civilization, I'm comin'.
Hmm, just watched the weather...DEFINITELY not headed north, tomorrow...

That Murphy can be a real B...... sometimes... Maybe you will shake him off in the Hot Tub. Make sure you leave the 8-Tracks alone over there at Richard and Jan's they may need those for the White Elephant.
