WE HAVE ARRIVED AT DEAD HORSE!!!, but haven't actually got there yet...we moved about 3/4 mile from PPSP to PPRVR...cost w/ good sam? $24, but the hot tub(to those who hiked)...priceless!...maybe another day...?...difficult decision, but someone has to soak up those really cold days. Besides, laundry can wait for those who do not recognize the need to go ...
THANKS to Ken-n-Linda for a really GREAT Rally...THANKS to all you others for sharing the 4CU attitude...................mike&tracy

I just love this every two to three week on-line accessability thing that goes with long-term boondocking...(too cheap to buck out the dish or aircard)...We would love to babysit your park...next summer...except for the Silverton rally time...are meals included? ...by the way, tell Marie that we have a large(and growing) bag of pull-tops for her...

Oh, we just need the sitters for the wintertime! Actually, we're seriously considering reconfiguring this place as a spring-summer-fall park. Running this place smack in the middle of the winter is for the birds!

Pull tops are ALWAYS welcome! We have a growning pile here ...

Oh, we usually decide that sometime in the summer. We're open to whatever works for everybody!

Tonight I sent out PM's to everyone who I had received money for the rally from. If you are planning to attend and did not receive a PM you still have time to get the form and check to me. I currently have 16 confirmed streamers. The good news is that we have plenty of room for more. The bad news is that we are short on money. Please get those checks and forms in the mail as soon as possible.

We have 5 weeks to go and it is time to get serious (anyone who knows me knows that is impossible).

The rough schedule is as follows:

Early ralliers
  • Jan & I will arrive on Thursday
  • We will wing it
Friday -
  • Arrive and setup
  • Attitude adjustment hour (Happy Hour)
  • Campfire and Fun!
Saturday
  • Share your breakfast
  • Trailer open house
  • Pot Luck (& more attitude adjustment)
  • Prize raffle
  • Meet PeeWee
  • Campfire and more fun!
Sunday
  • Saying good by to those leaving
For those staying the extra night
  • Leftover Luck (and adjustment)
  • Campfire and even more fun!
Monday
  • Saying good by to everyone else
Happy Hour: We will bring the M-Ball and supply some snacks. If you would like to provide more snacks, great!

Potluck rule: Bring whatever you like. Many rallies have everyone list what they are bringing, I don't. I think it takes the luck out of pot luck. So what if we have 20 platters of chicken wings, I like wings...

Prize Raffle: We have a few gifts to give away. If you would like to donate something, it will be appreciated. Gifts can be cute, fun and inexpensive.

Things we need:
  • A few tables for the Pot Luck
  • A video projector to attach to my laptop for PeeWee's chat
  • Firewood - I have a few bundles from Picacho, we could use more
  • Warm weather
Details will be provided when you arrive.

* All activities are optional, having fun is required
Please post any suggestions that you might have,,,

Richard,
A subject for discussion around the campfire at Dead Horse might be future rallies. Nothing is on the schedule for March, no date yet for Kartchner in April, etc.
