Thanks so much for sharing this article. I would LOVE to be in an A/S caravan to Cuba and will be glad when current travel restrictions are lifted. Of course, it might cost a bit more than $23 these days.

I must say the price is right. Sounds like a great place to caravan to. Wonder how much of the tropical Texas feel still remains. I know the Cubans really love the vintage American automobiles and drive them everyday.

this is really cool, Wally's own words speak of forming rallys for the purpose of high adventure.. driving thru Cuba would certainly be that! just think this was before Fidel ruined everything in 1959. And yes they love American cars cause those were the ones left when the American finally had to leave. They are the same cars! I am sure they would love to see a caravan of Airstreams come driving thru again. My Grandmother spent a lot of time in Cuba in the old days before I was born. She died always wanting to go back,so maybe on day I can go in her honor.Fidel can't live forever..........
