already signed up for the NEU Georgetown, ME rally quote]
Yes, I know! The Mt. Washington Rally was origiinally planned for July 14-15-16, but the organizers of the vintage car weekend moved it back one week, thus pushing the rally back with it. I wanted to do a weekend in Maine this year, but guess I'll be trading the Atlantic coast for the Presidential Range...
I've had a question about the Rally Fee. No, there is NO CAMPING FEE. The $15 is a flat, per person fee (under 12 free.) Anyone attending the rally has the chance, if they like, to get an "Observer" designation which will get you right in the front row at the hillclimb!
Haven't seen any updates on this event , is it still happening , any head count yet ?
Oh yes, it is still on. I was planning to talk to Carl today about a few things. I'll see about a headcount. Offhand I know of five attending, but those are just folks I've run into; nothing official.
Sorry, been tyed up dodging raindrops and other distractions to talk to anyone, so still uncertain of headcount. Really looking forward to the first rally of the season without rain! This may be the last day to sign up for this event, too!
