Actually Don we couldn't get him out of the water and when we did he just went right back in. The water temp that day was 42F. Eric had a great time in the water while the rest of us flew our kites and built condos on the beach. Oh yes, and the food was great!

We will be hosting an auction on Saturday night and we need your donations!
New and lightly used items are needed. All monies earned will be ear-marked for purchasing storage devices for the NEU trailer! We've got a lot of stuff that we need to organize so that our rallies run as smooth as glass so this auction is key to our success.
The auction will be held under our unit tent - NOTE: we will have the sides up so we will be protected from the wind. PLEASE: If you have a Mr. Heater, Heater Buddy, etc please bring it with you to assist us in heating the area under the tent. We do not want to be seen on the local nightly news: "A frozen solid group of Airstreamers were found under a big party tent on Sunday morning after they attempted to keep warm around the wicked tiny fire rings that are provided at the Salisbury Beach State Reservation Campground......".

Yes, that auction was not only fun but it was also successful...thanks to great donations and enthusiastic bidding, the NEU raised $600 which was donated to the Massachusetts Habitat for Humanity.
**sounding overly officious** I appreciate your interest but I've decided to let the auction run till the end. Furthermore, there is no "Buy It Now" price and this is a cash only proposition....
(Amanda just called, she doesn't sound too happy, gotta go.)
Please remember to bring a can of chili per person or your homemade chili that will equal one serving per person staying in your rig for the Friday night Chili Blend!!! Hosts will provide nacho chips, bread, cheese and chili toppers.

Hey, DEO. Wireless mics? Are you bringin' the same set-up as last year?
Pretty much the same setup.. PA system with wireless mikes and a guitar amp.. I got a new "fun" amp since last year Loudbox Pro (very nice) my battery died on my portable Crate last year just after Chilly Man #1 Denise eventually managed to fix it only after I got the Loudbox ... It's nice but very heavy. One of those two will come depending on how much energy I have while packing the trailer. I really look forward to seeing everyone at the rally Chilly man is a lot of fun... I don't get to too many rallies but this one I won't miss !

That was a blast last year. I can bring a couple small amps along if need be..there's electric there that we could hook up to.
