The judges will be selected from those who are not on a team. If you want to wear a clown outfit that is fine with us. You may even get your photo on the front page of the local paper.

We're having a lot of activity regarding the cook-off and looking foward to a great turn out.

I see on your online brochure that you are near Blue Bell Creameries in Brenham. Is this the Blue Bell ice cream Texans love?

Yes, it is the one and same. Before I moved to San Antonio in 1985 my next door neighbor in Garland, TX was their daughter.

Time is drawing near. Put your chili cooking to the test.

Thanks! I'll put that on my stop list going to or from (or both). I also want to go to Heinsohn's Country Store. I've been twice and it never disappoints. You can find gadgets found nowhere else. Meat Grinder | Sausage Stuffer | Electric Meat Grinders | Sausage Stuffers

BillyJoe, I'm sure you will enjoy eating your buffalo chili.

AirMmall, all the chili will be served for dinner on Saturday night. I'm really looking forward to it.

My buffalo chili has never been airmailed nowhere. Its so spicy that airmailing to the meal will not cool it off any.

This is a Buddy rally and they do not need to have an Airstream to join in the fun. And there are plenty spaces available at Coushatte Ranch RV Park. The weather should be cool and the chili hot! Cooking happens on a Saturday so if you work during the week you can still join the FUN!

That's right, it is a "buddy" rally and anyone can attend. October is a great chili cooking month and the Coushatta is a great place for the event. Lots of trees. Rustic location.

Are we allowed to have an open fire to cook the chili? Figure any burn bans will be over by October, but I guess stranger things could happen. Will the park allow fires this time of year? Let us know. Thanks.
