Hey Charlie, we spent a week in your area this July-fell in love w/Kezar lake. What a beautiful spot. I have a friend who retired to that area also-we couldn't find him though...he must be well hidden.

Please send me a PM/email. I would love to talk to you about your neck of the woods!

Great East Lake is plenty big. (I've seen several float planes parked at people's private cottages) The campsite has a boat ramp, too. AND cheap canoe rentals. so cheap, its hardly worth the trouble of loading your own and hauling it up there...

Final rig count and menu

At the final count, we are up to 26 rigs for a total of 60 people.

M&M has put the finishing touches on our weekend menu:

Friday night: Hot mulled cider by the campfire.

Sat breakfast: Griddle cakes with fried apples and syrup, sausage, hot coffee, and cold cider

Sat dinner: Dried fruit and cheese stuffed pork tenderloin, spiced sweet potatoes, waldorf salad, apple and sausage stuffing, applesauce, hot apple pie sundaes, decaf coffee

Sun breakfast: Assorted apple and cheese pastries, fresh fruit, hot coffee, and cold cider

Note, Friday night dinner, lunches and social hour snacks are not included so you will need to plan accordingly. Bring your own tableware and settings to all meals. We will hold a social hour on Friday & Saturday afternoons at 4:30 -- feel free to bring a beverage for yourself and a light appetizer snack to share.

Can't wait to see you again, the campfire is always nicer when you're around. We should be there by then, look forward to catching up with you both.

Yes, looking forward to seeing the gang again. Of course most of the NEU members have no clue about our latest idea for a NEU project.....

We'll let you folks in our secret around the campfire on Friday night.
