Hi MsRivet, I am the guy that said NO GATORS to Catstream's ambitions.
It's wasn't a matter of size, since we have a 34', but rather my concern about the nice oak floor getting scratched up. I hope you understand...
Anyway, should your early travels West bring you through Austin, Texas, the music capital of the world, we would like to offer you an overnight plug in at our quaint suburban Ranch style setting. We have 30 amp and even a sewer dump option if needed.
We want to extend this offer to anyone passing through Austin on the route to the Balloon Fiesta. Please contact me via this forum to check availability.
Safe travels!

Hi everyone, we are really getting anxious to see all you Streamers in Albuquerque. We thought we were going to have our Classic 1981 280 MoHo ready but we are getting new upholstery and I don't want to rush the lady so we will be in our 2003, 28' classic trailer, 7296

We are leaving about the 21st or 22nd from Olympia, WA; eventually we will end up at Enchanted Hills on 10/1 & 10/2, if you see us stop in and say hi.

I accidentally unsubscribed from this thread, so I have to post something so I will get back "in". We are also looking forward to meeting many of you during our first Balloon Rally too! We will arrive at Enchanted Trails on Thurdsay, we'll be the ones flying the USA, OK and the OKC Thunder flags! See you then...

Looking forward to meeting all of you at the event-We are leaving Florida this coming Monday for NM, the maiden voyage for our 67 Sovereign-I finished the rebuild tonight, we will load tomorrow for the trip. Even though we have owned several Airstreams, and belonged to WBCCI as members at large before, this is our first rally. We are now with the Florida unit. Sounds like fun! Hi Doug and Sharon, we will be heading to Moab, UT hopefully staying at Arches National Park, then wind our way over to Chama NM (if there is no snow) to ride the Steam Engine train. Of course this is all subject to change on a whim and the weather. Then finally south to Albuquerque by the 1st.

Heading Out Shortly

After a few days camping and enjoying the fun at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, we'll return home for a couple days to replenish supplies then head out to Albuquerque. Plan on make stops in Little Rock, Oklahoma City, and then arrive Albuquerque around the 1st of October. Looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying the festivities. Will be bringing a couple bottles of Kentucky's best beverages for refreshments while watching the balloons.

Our caravan from central Texas leaves just 2 weeks from today with stops at Junction, Balmorhea, and Carlsbad on the way. We have 22 rigs coming. It is a numbered WBCCI caravan sponsored by Texas Highland Lakes Unit. The roster filled up in 3 days!

After the balloons, we stop at Santa Fe and finally the caravan breaks up at Bottomless State Park at Roswell and we wend ourselves home separately from there.

I'll have my tenor guitar and will be looking forward to some jamming.

Wow! Thanks for the gracious offer. We are a bit farther north. Just landed in Texas on I-20. Will pass through Dallas in the AM. Then of toward Trinidad and then Durango. Followed by Mesa Verde then Santa Fe prior to landing in ABQ on the first.

I brought my concert Uke! Should be tuned up good by then. Follow along . . .

We are in Bellingham, Washington after a two day journey from Prince George where the WBCCI Alyeska caravan disbanded. We have about 310 more miles to cover before home where we will restock, rest and refit. Our plan is to leave from Amity on Wednesday the 24th and make our way down to Albuquerque in time to line up on that Friday morning. I think we are in the next door campground for Thursday night.

Glad you made it back safely. We'll be leaving home the 26th. See you there.

We are on our way west. Were in Newfoundland and Labrador. Currently in Quebec.

We've got a guitar, a uke, a fiddle and a flute, 2 dogs, and fixins for Jell-O shots.

Small issue with the Jell-O shots....I might need assistance making them and storing them. If I make them ahead of time, I won't have room in fridge for food.

I'm sure at least one of u will b willing to help out!!

Looking forward to meeting everyone! We are in silver Interstate with California tags and 2 bikes on back, and a little Gumby and Pokey riding on the front dash. Find us. Help us with the Jello shots!

Unpolished but ready to party.

Hope we aren't the only unpolished AS there. This is our first AS get together and looking forward to meeting and seeing other ASers. Heading from Weatherford, TX on 9/30 to Amarillo, Santa Rosa, then Albuquerque.

I've heard rumors that there is a gym near Balloon Fiesta that offers showers to non-members for a fee. Can anyone comment on this? Thanks.

Yes; Showers at Planet Fitness. Last year my wife and I paid $10 each ( I believe). Very clean, large lockers (bring lock, towel soap etc. It is a short distance from the parking area. If you are in the mood an uphill walk. But wait, after the shower there is a nice brewery around the corner that sells pints and growlers plus food. Eureka! One or two showers would be cheaper than the honey wagon and water truck.

Just talked to Matt at the 4801 Alameda location. The best deal looks like the $52 for one month with unlimited access.
