Yes it is a nice campground as well - however for those who have not yet made reservations - ET costs less and is yards from Camping World vs a couple of miles drive - we get nothing other than great support from ET - so does not make a difference to us where anyone stays the night before as long as you show up to CW on Friday morning - yay !

Just FYI...We made our reservation with ET last week and all they have left are water & electric hook-ups, which is no big deal to us...they have a dump station. I got a great rate with Good Sam disc. too. Can't wait!

In past years, American RV had a 3 or 4 night minimum? May have relaxed rules around Fiesta time as business went else where.

WOW! The time is approaching fast ... 78 days left until the start of the ABQ Balloon Fiesta. My husband and I will be departing in early September to begin heading that way. It will all be a part of an amazing six week Epic Adventure from Florida for us. Since we will be landing in ABQ just a few days early does anyone have suggestions for the following:
Best Places to Eat
Things to go see
Little Known Spots
Best Pubs
Hiking Adventures
Museums
Tours
Also if anyone needs anything from Florida ... let us know! I can bring sunshine definitely! But no HEAT or HUMIDITY!!! It's only July and we are already over the weather here.

Thanks, Ken, for suggesting I read this forum for updates.
My husband Frank and I are sincerely looking forward to our first major road trip with our new-ish Airstream. There are quite a few unknowns about the destination but after reading all of the posts I have a lot my concerns answered - phew!
We booked at Enchanted Trails for Thursday Oct 3rd and are coming from South Florida. I just found the website RoadTrippers.com and have been plotting out our travels - really nifty tool!
We're looking forward to meeting all of you and officially joining the club.

Greetings! If you have considered joining the Fiesta fun, we encourage you to complete the form and mail it in. There is a short wait list at this time and you may be surprised! See you in the ABQ!

We leaving for Alaska in 4 days and looking forward to come to ABQ Fiesta on our way back to Calif. HOPING 2 months are sufficient for Alaska trip. The minor issue is to get a spot, we are on a waiting list and hoping Ken's prediction come true regarding the potential cancellations.

Something fun to do in Albuquerque is take an ABQ trolley tour. Trip advisor gives their tours great ratings. There is a city tour and also a Breaking Bad tour. Check out abqtrolley.com. They just put their October tours on line at midnight last night to sign up. Only 34 spaces on the Bad tour. We signed up for BAD tour!

FYI, there is a Breaking Bad RV tour which takes you around to the same locations in a RV similar to Jesse's Bounder. Home

A few Breaking Bad stops that will be on my list . . .
The Taqueria (Garduño's)
Marble Brewery (Beer appeared in show several times)
A1A Carwash (Octopus)
and maybe, just maybe . . .
Dog House
Looks like there will be many interesting things to go see over the course of our time in Albuquerque prior to the start of the Balloon Fiesta.
How are those jello shots coming along?
Cheers!!!

This may have already been discussed but being in Alaska since May I have missed one or two things.
We will be arriving several days early, Does American RV have our names? I would like to stay there if it is available.
