It's a BIG DAY in our house today! We got our WBCCI number in the mail. Then, got an email with all the balloon festival info I was waiting on AND a space opened up at the campground we wanted in the night before the rally. WOW! Just WOW!

We call the opening game for a hockey team the "Season Opener". So in your case the Dallas Stars will have a "Season opener" of XYZ Day!
If I'm not mistaken, the term "Opening Day" is a baseball term. Mind you I might be wrong.
Anyway - Yes with luck our paths will cross in Abq. We will be the people with the Silver Trailer, Ford Truck and a dog....
We are booked in Enchanted Trailer RV Park starting October 01. So if your in the same park or in the area come look us up....
Cheers

We just got in Enchanted for the night of the 2nd. We will look for you. We just got our numbers today and haven't decided if we want to put them on our shiny new baby. We'll rig up something though but be sure to look for us. We have the silver trailer, white Ford truck, maybe a dog, Texas plates with a Dallas Stars logo on them. I'm going to try to get some other Star stuff to put up around the campsite so folks can find us!

Boy that sure sounds like the "Star's Aligning" - or would that be the Dallas Stars aligning. sorry could not resist....
With the new numbers you now have to make the big decision of do you put them on the trailer or not? There seems to be a couple different schools of thought on that question.....
We chickened out and put our numbers on Plexiglass that we can then hang in the window. Here is the instructions I used as a base of what I did:
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f286...1-a-90573.html
The only thing different we did was not put the WBCCI logo on. As it allowed me to use a smaller piece of Plexi and that is always good for a Scotsman from Canada....
By the way - What is your WBCCI number?
Cheers
Doug

Haha!!! They are easy to make, but do make a little mess, will assemble them outside.
Considering buying cheap cooler and ice to store them.
You will love the shots! Taste like those orange creamsicles or 50/50 bars. I will share the unsecret recipe. I'm anticipating great demand for them, so will make a double batch.

Hi from AZ. . .apologies to Articfox, but silver Trailer, Ford Truck, and dog isn't going to narrow it down AT ALL. Gonna be 40 of those combos there, including us :-)

@Articfox: our number is 4586. Thanks for the plexi info. I'm kind of leaning that direction so this is very helpful.

Small issue with the Jell-O shots....I might need assistance making them and storing them. If I make them ahead of time, I won't have room in fridge for food.
I'm sure at least one of u will b willing to help out!!
Looking forward to meeting everyone! We are in silver Interstate with California tags and 2 bikes on back, and a little Gumby and Pokey riding on the front dash. Find us. Help us with the Jello shots!

LOL - Darn I thought my articulation would set us apart from everyone else...
Okay I got it. you just need more info:
- So the Trailer is still Silver (sorry can't change that)
- The Ford Truck is White, that should make it easier.
- The dog is the dog but he's cute! So we will be the people with the cute dog!
Perfect - that should set us totally apart.....
Cheers
Doug

A remarkably similar packing list here...
2 bikes - check
2 dogs - check
2 ukes - check
From San Jose via Las Vegas and Grand Canyon, to Enchanted Trails on 10/2. We are really looking forward to the Fiesta!

Hawaiian Shirt Day
I've heard that one of the evening get togethers is designated Hawaiian shirt time. Any truth to my rumor?

Please pardon me if this question has already been asked.
I was wondering if we will have in and out privileges as soon as we get there or if we'll have to wait to get some sort of pass when we pick up our packets at 4:00? (E.G. What if we want to hit Albuquerque for some lunch on Friday?)

Look for the long-sleeve blue T-shirts and sweatshirts that the THLU caravan will be sporting. They are eye-catching.
