Parking is in the upper LH corner where it says RV Parking. Here is another link which is from another angle and the Airstream parking is in VIP West.

Yes, that is a photo of the 2011 Balloon Fiesta Rally. Look closely and you can see me waving.

Thanks Ken,

I thought I saw my trailer but was not sure. I have only been to the 2011 Fiesta.

I have to put on my high powered bifocals and look for you. Hope you don't get tired of waving and put your hand down. Ha, ha!

I'm pretty sure it is 2011. Our trailer is in the 3rd row, all the way on the right next to the access road. Richard and Jan, being big shots (we are not), are in the first row, all the way on the right.

Ok here's the scoop. I have gotten into microbrews the last couple of years and would like to try some from your state. Something that is exclusively sold only in your state.
I will in turn bring you something only sold in WI. The most popular, that out of state visitors seem to go home with, is "Spotted Cow". newglarusbrewing.com
But I am open for anything from WI that I can get my hands on.
If you are interested in such an exchange "Please PM me" lets not hog this thread.

Richard,

Thanks for the photo and the maps. It really helps to form a better picture of the setup for the Festival.

In the past, trying to find someone among 100-105 trailers has been difficult—I can't imagine what it will be like this year.

Hey Gene - Don't think that was us at City Market for we drive a Nissian. We have met some folks in the City Market with Airstreams.

Yes we are going to the balloon Fiesta and just my chance we are also staying in the Enchanted Trails RV Park. Would like to meet up with you there. We have a picture of the San Juan's on the truck and some Pictures taken in the Silver Jack area on the Airstream. Can't miss us. We have been assigned site 816 but the host said that that could change.
Looking forward to meeting you and the Ms.

A question from a first timer... What do you do for meals? Do you buy from venders, eat in town, or cook your own?
Thanks

Yes.

Most attendees do a little of all three.

Breakfast burritos and other food and drink will be sold at concessions at the east side of the field. Since it is best to go down to the field before dawn to see the crews setting up, you combine that with getting something to eat. Balloons will start to go up in the dark and that is one of the really cool times to be on the field while you munch on food.

You can eat in your trailer, but you'll have to get up that much earlier. The best time to be on the field is before dawn until all the balloons take off and then in the late afternoon to see more activity, balloon lighting up and then fireworks.

Lunch is the best meal to go into town for—much less traffic in and out. There will also be get togethers at the Airstream section with pot luck dishes before stuff picks up on the field. You will not starve.

Because of the size of the group - we are not doing a pot luck this year - we will have our usual get togethers - meet and greet - we will also have our usual gathering and cake to thank the parking crew :-) - those attending will get more details on this over the coming weekend

Interlopers?

Danielle and I will be at the Balloon Fiesta although not with the Airstream Rally. We know several WBCCI/Forum members attending the rally and plan to stop by and say hello.

I've been collecting regional beer at various places along our travels and I'm hoping to get together with other beer-lovers to share some brew. Let me know if you're interested.
