Yes it can. Maybe you will protect the rest of us—take one for the team.

Well, the only thing I can think of is how you are going to explain to everyone when you get home the constant smile and the twinkle in your eyes that you will have on you when you get home - oh - and with everything going on, don't plan on getting much sleep - dawn patrol is up at 5:00 am - no need for an alarm clock - you are right on the field and you will hear the balloons and helicopters in the air checking out the early morning winds.
Other than that - we send out a number of e-mails prior to the event explaining how we get 200 rigs onto the fiesta field at one time - its really cool thing to see and you will be amazed how well it goes - we will also let you know what to expect - events, schedule, things to do in Albuquerque should you want to something other than balloons (we still have not figured out )
Oh and watch all the folks on the fiesta field - young and old they will have that twinkle in there eyes and everyone will be as excited as a 6 year old.
Just plan to meet at Camping World between 9-11am on Friday the 4th
Don't forget your camara !

Just got our confirmation. Thanks Ken. Our 3rd year.
Now I have to make reservations for before and after in NM.
For newbies—the challenge is to find the best breakfast burrito. When you stumble onto the field in what feels like the middle of the night, the right breakfast burrito is essential. You won't really be able to see what you are eating (possibly is a good thing). One of the things we do on Friday afternoon is walk around the field and check out the burrito stands. We don't seem to get it right the first morning.
Also, bring layers of clothes. It will probably be pretty cold at 5 am, but as soon as the sun comes over Sandia Mountain, it warms up fast.

So I just looked back at my original post it was on 2/3 - today is the 2/12 and I just went by the Post Office again this morning and looks like we only have about 15 spots left - this really filled up fast - so again we will be looking at postmarks and start the waiting list.... I did check with the balloon folks (again this year) for more than the 200 spaces we have, but they do not have any more to give us - at least at this point - so we will do our best to get in as many as possible. If we put you on a waiting list, we will hold your check (not cash it) - the only way we can put you on a waiting list is with a deposit - last year we were able to fill a lot of the waiting list due to cancellations.

Wow!
We are almost full. Just reading the posts on the thread makes me want it to be the beginning of winter already! Aack!
Looking forward to seeing everyone new and old. I love to see the look in the eyes of anyone who has not been to the fiesta before. You will not be able to sit still.
Yay! Lewster, Uwe and Fred (47WeeWind) Glad you can all make it this year.

I know this is way early, and not sure if we will make the trip from Milwaukee WI in 2 days or take our time. I would like to know what others are planing and if some would want to caravan. Will there be a list of those attending?

I am sorry but we don't share emails of attendees - best thing to do is mention it on this thread -'which you have done - and see who responds
