OK on the closed portion of I-80. Thats the Rt I was going to take too..Dallas if you can keep us posted on any changes. When are you leaving for Bozeman? Tnx Barry we will keep a eye out for them...

Berry, I have the same one, it just doesnt say Glacier National Park on it, but always keep an eye out for stuff like that!

After a series of attacks of Murphy's Law, I am now on the road to Bozeman. Will be spending this evening at the Mitchell, SD KOA. I took a slightly different route -- very relaxing and at least as of the last 48 hours, none of the route has been threatened by floodwater encroachment -- water visible many places but mostly some distance from the roadbed.

I took US 36/I-72 West across Illinois and Missouri, and then turned North on I-29 to I-90. Will be leaving tomorrow with the destination being Thermopolis, WY.

Thunderstorms are forecast for this evening here in Mitchell, and there was some concern in Missouri that this system could aggravate the flooding if it holds together as it moves East.

Towing a vintage trailer with an even older vintage tow vehicle has been quite an experience!

I am really new to Airstream TT and am planning on going to the ralley but we will be a day late , on the 29th,Just bought a little 16' DWR cute as a bug now I have the bug, and am ready to go. In Colo so its not a huge drive . Question can you sign up at the gate? wow I would have to head back towards yellow stone if not, LOL that would be bad. No kidding aside I look forward to seeing you all CC

Have a great trip up to Montana. You can definitely register once you get there. There's a group of us heading up to Glacier NP if you have the time after the rally you'd be welcome to tag along!

Arriving on the 29th could be a problem. My understanding is that there are no parkers working on Sundays. If that is true, you would be in the bull pen until Monday morning.

Good point Richard. The bullpen can't be all that bad in MT...temps should be pleasant, but you won't be able to register. If you could, arrive by 4:00 on Saturday or hold off until 8:00 Monday morning...the bullpen is usually not much more than a dirt lot or parking lot. The Vintage Open House is on Sunday 1-4pm though...so if you want to check it out it may be worth it. There is also a KOA nearby for the night if you arrive Sunday and don't want to be in the bullpen ~

Regardless, travel safe & look us up!

Awe, come on Mike! You could still have a last minute change of heart and drop in! It's only a 3043 mile jaunt...Google Maps says you can do it in 1 day 23 hours! Haven't you seen this? Where's your sense of adventure!?
