Weather looks good for the rally Sun forecast through the weekend. I am signed up and paid might not make it until early Friday morning. What is the check in procedure.

We will be there do the sites have tables and such?. Grills or fire rings?

It has been a few years since I was there, but I do not remember picnic tables. A quick look with Google Earth doesn't show me any tables. I do see what may be fire rings.

Organizers have emailed a detailed agenda as well as check in procedures/times, etc. If you did not get an email, check your Spam folder. My trailer is finally ready but we will not arrive until Friday AM.

I think there are between 75 and 80 signed up. Usually there are 30+ vintage rigs.

At the rally and so far looks like a great turnout. Weather is perfect. Sure glad we made it. Here's to a great weekend

Well everyone went home. This was my first rally and I really wanted to thank all for putting on a great time. Lots of fun and the food was great. I will for sure make the next one as well. Leaving in the morning. Just not the same with most of the beautiful Airstreams gone.

We had a blast was my wife's first rally problem is the bar has been set real high for the next one to live up to. Thanks to all who helped make this happen.
We picked up an awning arm on the road on the way out if anyone is looking for a lost one. The hook is broken but should be able to replace it.

In fifteen years of attending rallies, this rally had the best food I have ever experienced. Good old country cooking with farm eggs that were so yellow that they practically hurt your eyes, homemade biscuits and sausage gravy, and on and on. Saturday dinner was the best catfish I have had in years.
Thanks to Harvey Craig for spearheading this rally.This is the ninth Vintage Rally put on by the Texas Highland Lakes Unit. Look for out 10th anniversary vintage rally in 2017. We do it every odd year.

Just want to echo eveyone else on this. Our first rally (in fact first trip with the FC) and it was a great experience. Food was outstanding. Events were well organized. People were super friendly and helpful. Will go again next year for sure.

I just want to thank each and everyone for showing us their wounderful airstreams!
This was our First Anything Airstream! I have inherited a 1965 GT and we are in the process of doing a Total renovation! We go So much good information and ideas! I want to especially thank Ginger and Steve Zeringue, who invited us to attend! We are hooked! Cant wait till Max is ready to travel!!

I would like to thank everybody for sharing their Airstreams with us on Saturday. We were only able to visit for a few hours and were impressed with all the nice trailers. You guys must've all been our good luck charm because after looking for our second trailer since March, we found our second Airstream on Tuesday after the rally. It is a 1959 Flying Cloud and we only had to drive as far as San Antonio to get it!
