In case you haven't heard, PeeWee and Susan will be able to join us starting Sunday afternoon and into Monday morning. I, for one, am really looking forward to meeting him and all the rest you whom I haven't had the opportunity to meet as of yet. Plans are finalizing for the potluck but I would like to hear what everyone is bringing. Juliannej is bringing her family's baked beans. What about the rest of you? As for the AM coffee time, we'll be serving fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls on Saturday morning and Richard and Jan will be making a dutch oven breakfast burrito for Sunday morning. We still need a volunteer for Monday morning.

I trust you all received your email with the itinerary so we can button up our plans.

See you all in a few weeks.

Brad

Jenny needs to stay home this weekend since she's been at my house for the last few months. We'll be bringing our ice cream maker and that should go quite well with the dutch oven fare.

We really don't cook anything you'd want at a pot luck but I can make a pretty good Pineapple Upside Down cake if it's wanted.

We're upstream of the dam by at least 100 miles. I have hiked Havasu Canyon a few times and can't believe what they went through when all of this happened. I hope this didn't destroy all of the wonderful areas and waterfalls within Havasu Canyon. It sounds like the rescue efforts of everyone were really well coordinated, according to what I read in yesterday's paper.

We've been down into Havasupai during our back pakcing days long ago...we, too, hope the area is not destroyed by the flooding...it's quite beautiful... But Williams is not going to be affected by the flood...

Moving along to Pot Luck...we plan to bring Terry's "Killer Guacamole & Chips" for a happy hour appetizer... and I think Greg is planning on making his enchiladas for the potluck...

I guess we are going to have to adjust to "rally mode" in terms of our rising time if coffee is going to be at 7 AM! Don't want to be left out of that!...

See y'all soon!
