hi 4CU friends! i'll be doing the family holiday thing this year, so i'm sad to say that kazoo-man won't be able to make it to the new years rally. have a great rally and happy new year to all! see you guys in 2014.
to any new peeps, you're in for a treat! last year's new years rally was my very first experience with the 4CU, and it was truly one of the best experiences i've ever had. you won't find a more friendly, fun-loving, helpful, culinary skilled, pink flamingo wearing, hilarious elephant-gift giving bunch of folks!

Glad you are coming! The more the merrier. No reservations with the campground needed for the group area ... just pay for the nights you are camping when you arrive. Bring whatever you'd like for the potluck ... amazingly the food always works out with a great mix of dishes. (This group NEVER goes hungry, that's for sure!)

We are arriving tomorrow afternoon to set up and so we can greet arrivals on Sat. The group area will be open around 3 pm, you may also stay in one of the other loops and move over to the group site when ready, if you arrive before we do, please leave the first two sites open as these are the host area. Anywhere else in the loop is fine.

So excited....getting ready for the 2nd outing. Picked our trailer up, planning to clean it up a little and then cut some firewood. Got stuck in the mud last week when we parked it so we are being very gentle. Got over the soft spot in the mud and rolling off the curb, KABAM and then cursing. Newbie mistake arrrrr. Lifted the jack but not far enough up. Well the curb did the rest of the lifting for us. Swing by the trailer repair spot. He fixes the hitch we order a new jack. But we are coming anyway. To hell with murphy he can stay home.

On the way as we speak. Taking surface roads because we have no WD bars AGAIN even though we got new ones that fit. But hard to put them on if you jack up your jack. ;o) cusoon

We are home and unpacked! Just want to say thanks to everyone who attended and made this such a great rally. We need attendees to have a successful event, and this year we had 35 rigs in total!
The site is reserved for next year so save the dates ... Dec 31 through Jan 4 2015.
We hope everyone has a safe trip home and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
