Since the new trailer is still vaporware, we hope to attend next year along with our Airstream with nights and miles of experiences during the year to share around the fire.

Hello again 4CU!

I did not get a chance to make it out for the Thanksgiving Rally. My road trip back to Ohio for Xmas just got canceled because of money issues but my girlfriend already booked her tickets. So now I am alone during the holidays til the new year. I am looking for a Silver lining and this might be it. Is it ok to join in on the fun without being a member of the WBCCI? Are there spots still available? Is the weather above freezing? LOL.

Crabbey... Yes, you may come to the 4CU New Year's Rally as a guest. We'd love to have you join us! Just go to the rally page and sign yourself up. The basic info is there as well as links to sign up and for the agenda .. and to see who's coming. It begins Sat 28 Dec and runs through 2 Jan...some will be coming in later, and some will leave on the 1st. There are no assigned spots ... it's in a quite large group area (dry camping) with a central area where the ramadas are. Rest rooms and showers are in a neighboring loop. Drinking water is available at a spigot in the group area and near the dump station on the way in. Weather looks like it's going to be pretty good, and should be above freezing ... but it might get close at night, so be prepared! No rally fee. Camping is $15/night paid to the ranger station on arrival. Contact Hosts Louis & Sergio (LHall here on the Forums) for more info. Come on over!

I think I am going to join in. It will just be myself and the pups. I was considering stopping at the Biosphere 2 the day before. Anyone ever been here before? I was also thinking of camping a night or two at Mt Lemmon, AZ. Although it looks like it might have some snow... Anyone have any experience there? Thanks!!!

Biosphere 2 is a great place. Very interesting. The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum west of Tucson is also worth a visit ... a world-class living museum ... plus there's a nice county-run campground very near it ... Gilbert Ray Campground.

Mt Lemmon is under snow and the road up may require 4-wheel and/or chains. Also I believe all the NF campgrounds are closed for the winter....and as far as I know there are no commercial parks on the mountain. Probably not the best place to try to tow your rig at this time of year.

See you at the Rally!

hi 4CU friends! i'll be doing the family holiday thing this year, so i'm sad to say that kazoo-man won't be able to make it to the new years rally. have a great rally and happy new year to all! see you guys in 2014.

to any new peeps, you're in for a treat! last year's new years rally was my very first experience with the 4CU, and it was truly one of the best experiences i've ever had. you won't find a more friendly, fun-loving, helpful, culinary skilled, pink flamingo wearing, hilarious elephant-gift giving bunch of folks!
