Should not need AC over thanksgiving. Average temps in Nov should be mid 70's and mid to high 40's. Dutchman is considered an outlying area and should have even nicer temp's than the city's. We still do shorts in the day w/light jackets at night and have had thanksgiving outside under umbrella's.

We are allowed to use our generators, just so everyone knows.

Just Changed Our RSVP from "Maybe" to "Yes"

Just returned home from the wonderful Four Corners Unit Balloon Fiesta Rally, and looking forward to the upcoming Thanksgiving Rally. Please let us know what we can bring.

By the end of this week we will be trailerless until the end of January or early February when our 2014 Classic 30 is built and delivered to Arizona. Hope we can do this Thanksgiving event next year.

We really enjoyed the Ballon Festival and hope to attend again next year.

Viddles and such

I am so happy to see we are going to have a great turn out for this Thanksgiving Rally!

For those arriving Wednesday we will keep it simple, a happy hour including some nosh.

Thanksgiving we will be having fried turkey and I believe some smoked turkey also so only side dishes will be needed. If you'd like to post what side dish you are bringing that would be lovely.

Friday or Saturday we will be repurposing the fry oil for Tempura or whatever you'd like to throw in. Always delicious!

Thanksgiving Dinner

Getting closer to Arizona and starting to think about what we could bring to Thanksgiving dinner. I'm willing to bring dressing for dinner (and it won't be from Stoffers) and a pie. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Betty

1. Is there a schedule of events, gatherings or customs we should be aware of.
2. Will there be a tour?
3. Should we bring wood. (Not that i'm try to rekindle the whole burn or no burn thread)

We will not be joining you until Saturday morning but would like to bring something also.

4. Will there be an organized meal on sat evening?

We are so excited to be joining you all. This is out first venture in it and first gathering with other Airstreamers. We will try to park on the right / east side of the loop to be closer to the facilites and will try to keep our backing directions discrete and civil. (Yes we read that thread also).

Did I say we were excited, regards

Yes, firewood would be a wonderful contribution. We always burn! Sitting around the campfire is one of our favorite things to do and certainly a tradition for this group.

We will have happy hour/potlucks every evening around 4 except on Thanksgiving when we will be doing dinner at 2.

Friday night we will be having a Fry Night, repurposing the oil Richard & Jan bring for frying the turkey. Everyone should bring what they would like to fry, some of us are doing tempura veggies as well as shrimp, scallops, steak, etc. A small donation of a few dollars to go towards the fry oil would be appreciated for those of us who are dipping in that pot, that stuff is liquid gold!

The happy hour/potluck is pretty much our gathering and custom other than that we're pretty much a do as you please sort of bunch. I was thinking of having a game of Left Right Center for those who are into it, bring your single dollars!

We are so happy to have new people join us! This is our first gathering of the season and it looks like we have around 20 trailers coming. A better turn out than I expected and I am so happy to be spending Thanksgiving with good friends.

Do I need to be a member of WBCCI to attend? Is there space left?
