29th Annual Rose Parade Rally

Region 12 is hosting the Rose Parade Rally in Pasadena, CA from December 28, 2009 to January 1, 2010. The site is dry camping, only a couple of blocks from Colorado Blvd., the site of the 121th Rose Parade on New Year's Day.

The fee includes four nights of parking in a fenced area, morning breakfasts, two dinners, tours and curbside viewing of the Pasadena Rose Parade from you own chair.In addition to viewing the parade there is shopping and dining in Old Town Pasadena, various Tournament of Roses activities and the opportunity to help decorate one or more floats.

An optional chartered bus trip to the Crystal Cathedral Christmas performance is available for an extra fee.

The site will accommodate 50 rigs. A minimum sign-up is needed by the extended due date of November 1, 2009.

Rally fee for one Airstream with 2 adults - $415, one Airstream with one adult - $392, additional adults over 15 - $15. Crystal Cathedral tour - $60.

Wish we could come! Someday we will make it there. What a bargain compared to the Good Sam rose parade "Samboree". Theirs costs a couple thousand for 2 people. Can't imagine what they are spending it on.

I looked up the web site, they have a lot of events planned, but they park at the Fairplex in Pomona. The Fairplex is 25 miles from the beginning of the parade route. WBCCI parking is a short walk from the parade route.

The Rose Parade rally is on for this year. You have until December 15 to sign up. Don't miss this once in a year special event.
