2019 Airstream International Band News
vol. 1, no. 1 – Aug. 2018
· We’re “growing” the Bands for the 62nd International in Virginia, July 20-27, 2019. WE NEED WIND AND PERCUSSION PLAYERS.
· To have a 50-piece Concert Band, and a 16-piece Jazz/Dance Band YOU need to volunteer to get out that old instrument, have it refurbished, and get your “lip” in shape.
· If you played in a Symphony Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, Corps Band, or ANY band, we NEED you! No auditions required. All skill levels accepted.
· Last year we were in particular need of oboes, flutes, clarinets (B-flat and Bass), and percussionists. We can use more cornet/trumpet players, more French horns, two or three baritone/eupohnium players, and two tubas.
· The rehearsal and performance schedule is in development. If you
