“Let’s Stream Back in the Past”
Picture Butte, Alberta
September 1 to 5, 2011

Welcome to your weekend stay at the Prairie Tractor and Engine Museum!

The museum is located 1.5 km south of Picture Butte on Hwy 843
Coming from the South or East – West on Hwy 3 from Lethbridge turn north on Hwy 25 to go to Picture Butte, then look for red & white WBCCI signs
Coming from the North or West – Off of Hwy 2 turn East at Granum and continue East until you reach Picture Butte

At this grassed site our trailers will be surrounded by historic buildings – train station, school, church, jail and many more. Our meeting hall is filled with historic collections – from a community school wagon to sewing machines. Tractors of all shapes and sizes are on display at the garage next door. The scenic coulee invites us for a ½ hr. trail walk or ride (golf carts available).

Highlights of your weekend:

Thursday evening: Soup supper

Friday: -Guided tour and movie at the Empress Theatre in Fort MacLeod
-Tour on your own (famous Fort MacLeod / Head Smashed-in Buffalo Jump)
-Wine & cheese welcome party

Saturday: -Tour of Japanese Gardens in Lethbridge
-Catered banquet and entertainment

Sunday: -On site in the morning: public church service at the historic
church (the local minister will be conducting)
-Executive Meeting will take place Sunday morning, followed by
the general meeting
-In the afternoon, the building on our host site will be open for tours for ourselves and the general public
-Airstream Open House (for those interested)
-Pot Luck BBQ (bring your own meat) odd # - dessert / even # - salad, followed by Installation Ceremony of New Officers

Power for battery charging and potable water are available, but please arrive with a full water tank and empty waste tanks. Washrooms are available in the hall.

Registration payment $200 is at the door; however, we would appreciate knowing numbers by August 26, 2011
