Just got off the phone with Vicki (be sure to give her a big hug and thank-you!) at Enchanted Trails and have arranged some no hookup sites for anyone who needs a place to stay on Thurs night - the charge is $20 which is a great deal - call them at 505-831-6317 if you need a space.

Sorry Gene, it's hard to find someone older than you...., I mean seriously... how many bodies can you find at an archaeological dig that is still alive??  LOL, but we will be happy to help you celebrate.
SilverPal: "but where are all the Airstreams??" We're on our way. Had to work Graveyard till Monday AM, & had to finish packing those last minute items and get much needed rest, then put in two days traveling 600 miles each day to get to Mountain Rd. RV Park in Tucumcari! Tried to get there today, but after working a week on graveyard and then traveling too many miles in two days, just tired to go any further. The roads (AKA: I40) in AK & OK are by far, much to be desired. Will be glad to see everyone, and too excited about the Balloon Fiesta.

Arrived at Enchanted Trails about 12:00 pm Wednesday. It is now after 8:00pm and a gathering just broke up a few trailers down from us. Several Airstreams here already. Tomorrow, Thursday, there are supposed to be about 50 AS. Richard, we were at Bernie and Marjorie's for cocktails.

Arrived at Santa Fe KOA and another unit from Missouri pulled in right after us also headed for the festival. So two Airstreamers here. Looking forward to Friday morning and seeing the rest of the herd.

I just had dinner with 2 86-year-olds and a 91-year old, all in great condition. Barb's family lives forever. So I feel a little younger right now and may cancel my birthday and go into 2nd (maybe 3rd) childhood.
It's supposed to be 88˚ in Alb. Friday and mid-80's after that. Mid to low 50's in the morning. We plan to leave Pueblo at 8 am (I'll be surprised if we do, but I did say "plan") and arrive at Enchanted Trails around 4. It is all interstate, so though boring, should go fast. I hope they have plenty of water at Enchanted Trails because we will all be filling our tanks.

Woke up too early and discovered my computer wasn't charging and was down to 59%. After taking things apart a lot of times and trying different receptacles over and over it started charging. The new connection to the MacBook—a magnetic connection rather than a simple plug—doesn't seem to work very well. Now up to 93%. Now I can take a shower and arrive at Enchanted Trails clean and charged up.

Happy to have met LOTS of Airstreamers here at Enchanted Trails over the past few days! To those we met in the laundry room, we will meet under better circumstances (the Fiesta Field!) soon! Safe travels and we will see you Friday morning at Camping World.

Really looking forward to this - just a little bit of tivia - this rally is about 1/5th the size of international - not bad huh.....
The weather is looking perfect - 80's during the day 50's at night - balloons are already in the sky this morning - I understand they will be doing a special launch on Friday morning of 13 balloons - thats how many the first fiesta had 40 years ago! You will probably see them in the air as you come into town.
Safe travels everyone - will see y'all rise and shine on Friday morning!

We arrived at Enchanted Trails a couple of hours ago after being pushed south by a cold front and 40 mph winds. Did great things for our gas mileage. Airsteams galore are here and more are arriving. Temp was 90˚ when we and the cold front arrived; now it is 77˚

We arrived in Las Vegas, NM around 3:30pm, very windy here, think we'll be finding a TV station this evening ... another Airstream just pulled in, plus we bumped into the Coopers & ? at the rest area just north of Pueblo. This is already cool ... hitting the road early tomorrow, to make sure we get to Camping World on time. Not bad going today though 327 miles, 7 hours, long lunch included, and about 13.8 mpg. Jim
