Definitely a good time, even with the rain and wind. We may have scared the Ohioans off with our comments (half-joking) about how great the weather was, though. We got to meet some new people, so that was fun.

I believe the count was 16 Airstreams and one Scottie, but there was an Airstream 345LE motorhome from NH that may not have actually been part of the group - I wasn't clear on that. There was another camper with us that would be a buddy if this were a real rally, plus the people from the two Airstreams that happened to be camping there already and swung by to say hi.

You won't scare the Buckeyes of the crowd. Our weather is pretty much the same. Had a great time and look forward to future get-togethers. Many thanks to the folks we met that made us feel so welcome.

For those of you that missed it this is a picture of how to cook the Rib I Steaks on a pitch fork. The stakes were reportedly much better that the image.

My pictures are here!

I just took a couple overall shots Saturday afternoon - not my usual dozens of pictures.

Indeed, while so many of our WDCU/CBR friends were missing this weekend, we did manage to pull off an impromtu good time. As RJ noted, there was a blend of CBR regulars mixed with some new comers in attendance. I did not catch the NH couples last name but the drivers first name was memorable - Wally.

Lousy weather thursday night but RJ hung with us by the fire pretty late. The Fri night campfire went til 1am and Sat went til 3am! That was without Linda B and Marc W - who are both late nite regulars. Jason from OH...if you don't stick with the WBCCI after that fireside session all is lost. Just kidding - hope your "business trip" is going well.

This weekend proved you can convene a not-really-a-rally rally without happy hour and dinner schedules. some things can just happen naturally.

Now how the heck do i clean the pitch-fork pot out?

A Great Non-Rally

Hey Dave, got that pitch fork clean yet?

Yeah, I'm REALLY late in getting pics posted. Maybe I can blame the Waddell's. The Verizon service is nearly non-existent at their place. (Many thanks to Paul and Mary Kim for some premium courtesy parking. )

Photos are here on Picasa. Feel free to download any or all.

Even though it wasn't an official CBR, the spirit of the CBR lives. Party on!
