Greetings Shari,
Glad to see you and Birdy are going to make it. I am trying to finish polishing a 64 GT. I have got 42 hrs. so far with the 1st cut....the outside will be done, BUT nothing will be attempted on the inside until after the rally. Hope to see others I met last year and looking forward to meeting some new folks.
Levon
Man, with all the polished beauties showing up for this rally, do not forget your sunglasses and sunscreen! Looking forward to this talented and friendly line-up, vintage coaches, some good New Mexican cuisine, and I suppose a few flamingos here and there...
Because we expanded this rally, we still have some spaces left - also those of you who have not sent your rally fee need to do so by 3/31 so we can have a little time to do our final planning - so we can not promise a space after that date...
I will be sending an e-mail to those who have signed up but have not sent their rally fee to confirm attendence.
We will also be sending weekly (or so) updates of our plans to all signed up after 3/31 so you know exactly whats happening!
Yea - don't forget to bring your shades! There will be lots of very shiney aluminum
Levon - (he's our polishing demo guy - so you can see his work!) your da man - you just love that polishing stuff! I looks great!
Insideout - we are so looking forward to seeing the trailer - we've been restoring it with you on these forums and can't wait to see it!!!
The stars are starting to align. Got the fridge tied down in the Sovereign and work (pronounced as Maynard G Krebs would pronounce it) is moving into the future, so I'm signing up. I'll have a truck full of parts--cabinets, overheads, a door (yes, that's the main entry door) and other stuff.
I will pay Levon if he will do his demos on my Airstream!
The stars are really lining up for this rally - last year I was concerned how we could top that one, now I'm getting a little concerned how we can top this one - the stars are all lining up perfect for this rally - its AMAZING..
I plan to head up to the Rally via nm 180 to 12 near reserve, then would like to head up to US 40 via state 32, 36, 117 and put in for the night along that route. Have never taken it north of 32, anyone have a clue as to the roads, will my ol Sovereign hold together!!!
Any recommended campsites???
Thanks a lot
