Very cool - you have the best working on your trailer - Uwe is straight from Germany and has that perfection thing going...

Really looking forward to meeting you and checking out the new trailer!

Add us to the stream...

After moving to Durango in 2008, we wanted to join you last year, but home renovations with no end in sight kept us from making the commitment.

This year count us in. Looking forward to see how you FCU'ers party down! Will send check, so hold us a spot.

Very cool

Gail and I will be trying to coordinate the Airstreams heading east to the Balloon Fiesta. It looks like we potentially have Caadoptees (Roger and Roxie), urbanfood (David) and Charlie M (Charlie) that potentially will stop in Williams, AZ and Grants, NM.

We will be attending the Sierra Nevada Unit Unionvillle County Park Rally, September 24- 27, 2009 and then heading south through Nevada to meet up with any willing for the caravan to Grants and Albuquerque. Roger and Roxie are concerned that their drive from Visalia to Williams is to long for a single day so we might be working on some options for an earlier stop. Please email, private message or call me 951.780.5199 if you are interested in caravanning to meet the Phoenix Airstreams, Richard and Jan, at Flagstaff for the caravan into Grants.

Last year we stopped at the historic La Posada hotel for lunch which is another great option for this year. Let us know if you want to join us.

Generators???

First, count us in.

A question about the generators.

Are there hours in which the generators can/not be operated?

We like the idea of no generators after 7 pm and not before 10 am but that's just our opinion.

When in Death Valley generators can be run anytime except 9 pm and 8 am. Too darn noisy for us.

Big Bend in Texas has two periods during the day when they can be run. Much more civilized IMNSHO.

Jim

Generally, generators are not allowed after about 9:00pm till about 8:00 am

Being New Mexico, things are a little loose at Balloon Fiesta, and sometimes those times are expanded a bit...

I thought I posted earlier...but I guess I forgot ~

We sent in our registration a couple of weeks ago and plan on attending the Balloon Rally this year! I can't wait, we haven't been since 2002 and this year Birdy will be in tow...I'm really looking forward to it!

Looking forward to meeting you at the Fiesta. The initiation 'rites' consist of a 30+ Airstream caravan from Camping World to the Fiesta. Last year we added to that by playing circle the parking lot for a while as well. If you can survive that, your in!

Ken: It's tempting! We had such a great time in '08! We've got a commitment on the east coast and are trying to see if we can get back in time with the "Big Guy" to switch into something silver.... Let me know how the party is filling up!
