Okay...I'm a little late to the party in posting pics...but I took so many and had to just pick out my favorites...I like the way Birdy's polished segments mimic the ribs on the balloons.
Thanks to all for making the rally what it was...can't wait until next time to have Birdy all polished up so I can get some reflection shots!

One of the coolest things we experienced while in ALB was when we went down to Old Town to sightsee...we happened to be there the same time as the WWII Navajo Code Talkers were there. They were having a book signing and we were able to get a book and have them autograph it...also to thank them for their service. Very cool!

Very nicely done, everybody. Even though we were able to watch the Ballon Fiesta at home it was nothing like being with our unit at the rally itself. Maybe next year. Shari, nicely done with the Code Talkers. Sometimes we do not think about the sacrafices the Native Americands have made for our country.

Based on the dates for the event, the 4CU rally will be held from 10/1 to 10/5. The event is a year away, but unless something changes, those should be the rally dates. This year we were parked starting in the second row off the field, next year we should be in the first row!

I hope you and Maria can make the Fiesta next year. Dorothy and I really enjoyed your company along with Jan and Richard at Monte Verde. Your very generous ride with two vehicles to town and Chinese dinner was appreciated.
We will be there in 2010.

We're sure going to try hard to attend next year. At the moment, we're having to deal with two groups wanting to do rallies at our place right at the end of September next year. Once we're home from Santa Fe, we'll try to get all that sorted out.
