Can you give us first timers to this event the lowdown on what to expect, bring, or supply?
Besides corn dogs and fry bread, is there any good food on site?
Do you guys eat on site or go out for occassional meals?
Is outside grilling OK?
Is leavinig the grounds during the day a hassle or can you come and with ease.
Any special evening social events planned?
We have some original bins (3) that were under the beds of our 69 Overlander that need a new home.....we live in the Los Angeles area and there is someone in Springfield, MO that would like to adopt the bins......only problem is getting them from CA to MO. I think they may be too fragile to ship--so I was wondering if there is anyone going to the balloon fiesta from the LA area that would not mind taking the bins---and here is where it gets trickier....anyone that will be heading east towards Missouri after the fiesta to take the bins with them? It doesn't hurt to ask...please pm me if there is interest.....the bins are the big ones but they stack together.....thanks, paula

For the Arizona crew. We will be leaving up to Holbrook on Thur night. Then in the morning traveling to CW. If in route you can call me on cell phone. Drop me a private message for phone number. I feel like we are turning into the Grande Circus. LOL Can't wait to see you all there at CW.
Many of us will be in Grants, NM (KOA) on Thursday night and headed to CW on Friday morning. I do not expect us to leave until around 10am. I will send you a PM with my cell number.
Next week at this time we will be on the road headed to Camping World in Albuquerque to prepare for our entry into the Fiesta. I thought I would add a small list of items that would be helpful is some people bring with them.
Tables - We are bringing our folding table and a few more would be great. The food at the pot luck does not look as appealing sitting on the ground.
Chairs for sitting around the campfire at night.
Campfire - Wood fires are not allowed at the camping area. We will be bringing our fire dancer (propane campfire) and it would be great if we could get a few more at the rally.
M-Ball - We will be bringing the 4CU M-Ball this year again. It will run dry quickly with the size of the crowd we will have this year. We could use your help keeping the ball in service. Choose your favorite mix and go for it, the ball holds close to 8 liters.
Jan and I are looking forward to seeing all of our old friends again this year as well as meeting new ones.
What would a Rally in NM be without Chile. Do you want me to bring you some? It would be Gratis this time. Tamara wants to know what kind of chile people would like. A chile stew red or green an enchilada(red beef or chicken green). Posole with green and red on the side (Tamara says she promises it won't be hot, maybe some hot for chile heads or native New Mexicans) She says she could make her award winning enchiladas from Dead Horse III

Dead horse SPAM enchiladas with chiles That just does not sound right.I thought Spam was made with pork.
Oh good! "Mamma Cookie" (as I call Tamara) is getting prepared! Yea! Drooling already. Her fried Heron Lake trout at the Heron Lake Rally were to die for.
Richard...We plan to bring a small table as well.
