I got a call from Robertsunrus tonight, he is in Flagstaff just across the road from Little America waiting for the rest of us to show up.

I also got a call from Overlander63, Terry and Marie are one exit away at the KOA. It we can get our butts up the hill early tomorrow, we will meet them at Little America as well. Too bad Terry is going the wrong way.

Haven't left just yet... we're told our tow vehicle will be ready to roll tomorrow around lunchtime.

That means we'll almost certainly miss the parade from Camping World to the fairgrounds, but I'm hoping we'll show up Friday evening. Save us a good spot if you can!

Last year went on balloon ride - This year maybe the tram
The office was closed when I got your note...I don't think they have any open spots, but will ask tomorrow am...Sid and Becky were told they got the last available. FWIW, we stopped thru here in July, and boondocked in the CW parking lot(it was about 7:00pm...we ate at the 2fer1 buffet at the 66 Casino, and there were several RVs there...it's about 8-10 miles west of CW/ET...on the south side of 40. PM your cell, and I'll call you tomorrow morning when I find out.

We are at the KOA in Raton, NM tonight. In the morning we will head for Albuquerque. We have a reservation at the KOA in Bernalillo, NM, tomorrow night.

SuEllyn has a chilly (we're from Florida) recipe to enter. It is called "Moose Drop Chilly". It is really good as long as all of the bacteria is cooked out.

Sounds like we may have enough chile for every night. This could get expensive, it costs $20 (last year) to have your tanks pumped out.

We are on time, so far, this morning. headed to flag in 30 minutes.
azflycaster out....

IMPORTANT - anyone not meeting us a Camping World needs to call me at the number I e-mailed everyone....

Sounds like everybody is on their way - got my trailer out of the barn myself and spiffed it up a bit

And a fine recipe no doubt!

Does this have any relation to who is camp cook?

Aluminum seems to be attracted to itself...PopRivet came in early noonish...other Al sightings include two more, one of which is a 310 MH not related to our wonderfully disfunctional family. Bob&Lou had an informal "Doin'...food, fuel, company...and then, the 'great debate was on tv, courtesy of the neighbors...I was able to eat, anyway...Ken & the Lewster dropped thru...after 45 min of he said-she said -they said-SOMEONE said, we were kinda cool, so went home...well, ok, Tracy went home...I hit the hot tub...just so depressing to have to watch people promising things that they don't know whether or not they can deliver...I, on the other hand, can tell you with all sincerity, that all promises I have made as TTQ contestant will be fulfilled after the coronation...honest...you can take that to the bank...uhm, maybe the wrong choice of platitude......let's see...you can hang your mortgage on it...well, maybe not that one either...oh, shucks, this politickin'(potilickin'...?) isn't quite as easy as it first seemed...I have several verbal proxy ballots, AND the tiara...

The caravan from the west arrived yesterday in Grants. We had a great trip across I-40. We had coffee with Terry and Marie who caught up with us in Flagstaff on their way to California. After they headed west we headed east.

We have 9 Airstreams at the KOA and we will be headed to CW later this morning.

Well, I'm feeling much better realizing that I'm not the only one who isn't there having fun with the crew.

Now just remember you are not required to provide the gas for every balloon in attendance so go easy on that chile, eh?

Whew!!! The spots in front of my eyes turned out to be balloons...no flashback, after all...last night's chil-whatever was really gas-tronomical(maybe that should be -traumatical)...I noticed that the septic truck circled our area TWICE this morning. Really nice evening...thamks to R&J's fire-dancer(and margi-ball). Another 4CU rally is already kicking the charts...here's to you guys that couldn't make it in person...
