Ken J,
I am new to the forum. We are waiting the delivery of our 2 year old 16' Bambi. Is it possible for us to squeak into the 2008 Albuquerque Balloon Festival? We won't take up too much room...

kay & maryann,
you weren't planning on running for TTQ, were you...? if so, what would it take to get you to withdraw and...uhm...maybe vote for me...?

I don't know what the TTQ is or any connected duties.

Here on our farm as the oldest, I allready have the title of Queen B*tch. It is a hard job to be a good B*tch. My daughter tells folks that she is a B in training.

I will have to verify your qualifactions as TTQ before I can commit to a vote.

See you in Albuquerque.

TTQ=Trailer Trash Queen

Not sure about the duties, but I think they involve quality control...

My qualifications are impeccable, tho' probably peckable...I have a tiara, a bouquet of Tootsie Roll Pops, and a silver thingie to hold in the other hand...my credentials thus far include Rodeo TTQ(I was thrown from the back of a wild flamingo during the barrel races, but got up and was allowed to restart, despite serious injury to my pride), and a whole bunch of other stuff too tedious to detail.

This sounds like a possible fund raiser - a contested TTQ election and we can sell our votes to the highest bidder

See y'all in Abq.

Dear Mr Bertch
I have been looking at the Trailer Trash rules books and in book 6,page 1205,Par.16d4,apx.3,line16 reads "to run for Trailer Trash Queen you have to be the owner of a Airstream TRAILER."Thus your MOTORHOME will make it so you can not run.
The Qualification folks are still looking for your credentials,Have you sent them in?They will need 106 copies of your credentials and qualificactions.
I have been told that you did have a Airstream trailer that was for sale.If you still have sead trailer you could run.I know that you have spent a lot of $$$ to buy votes so If you have sold the trailer I could change the rules for some $$$.Also might over look your lack of sending your qualiction and credentials to the Qualification folks for $$$.
Please sent $$$$$$$ to PO Box 1190.Del Rio.Texas ASAP.

yours

Trailer Trash KING.

PS MALE QUEEN?

Yule see...

Trailer Trash rules notwithstanding, the primary rule of politics is to promise you what you want. So, a chicken in every pot, money will flow, margaritas will be cheap, and I promise NOT to wear a two-piece(piece-de-resistance...?)...gosh, this campaigning stuff is draining. I DO own a vintage trailer(replica), although it's kinda small and could be mistaken for a Christmas tree ornament. I carefully read the rulebook, and did not find any disqualification clauses(Klauses?) for either replicas OR Christmas tree ornaments...

If you look at book 7, page 1508, par.18e5, apx10, line 3, under the heading of Marquerita rules and regulations, you will see that a trailer trash queen, who owns a motorhome, can be elected IF they provide Marqueritas for the whole rally...... These FCU set of books can be pretty tricky...

Back home from Wisconsin and starting our trip planning. We have a reservation for the 2nd at Enchanted Trails. I understand this is right next to CW, so we should be ready for the caravan. Looking forward to the balloon extravaganza and meeting everyone. Counting the days!

Can not find any rules about MALE queen. How did that rule get over looked. The 4CU has at least 15 books of rules each has all most 2000 pages.
Guess maybe we should hold the first meeting over this some day.

Rule books...? TIARAS RULE!!!(and I have one...). The 16th book was, as I remember, almost as good as the old Sears catalogues used to be...

Mr&Mrs Razorback,
We'll see you at Enchanted Trails...we'll be there a couple of days early.

Not to disagree too strongly, but, at least for me, Donnaritas Rule! Er, oops, belch, Margaritas!

While we were there it would be a good time to take the steam train from Chama to the high country where the Fall colors should be good. A good camping location would be Heron Lake State Park (Blanco Loop as first choce or Willow Creek loop) - $14/night with water and electric. The park is about 15 miles South of Chama. The state park reservation system will be shut down so it is grab a site when you get there.

Due to a lack of response, I am going to call the Heron Lake SP side trip canceled.
