Hot air balloon

Have any of you ever built a miniature hot air balloon? the ones that use a can of sterno for hot gas? We could probably get into some serious trouble with a half dozen of those

I have not heard that term in a long time, I did my mess cooking duty in the Goat Locker on my ship. The Chiefs at least tipped, the guys in the Weird Room got nothing.

El Morro Monument outside of Grants is a place to visit on way to Albuquerque

In New Mexico, history is etched into El Morro monument

Seven centuries of travelers have left their mark on Inscription Rock, offering personal glimpses into Western history.

To reach it from Albuquerque, you drive 85 miles west on Interstate 40 to Grants, then take New Mexico 53 for 42 miles.

For those of you stopping ovenight in Grants, NM, this was in the LA Times Travel Section today.......In New Mexico, history is etched into El Morro monument - Travel - LATimes.com

Sounds interesting to me. paula

We stopped at El Morro (and El Malpais, too) as we took a round-about tour from Gallup to Grants. Very worthwhile sidetrip, and it gets you off the interstate for a short while.

But back on point, "chile" is how we down here refer to an individual of the rugrat segment of the population from time to time.

So, Pat...........

Are you implying that this 5 letter word being bantered about is used in the mono-syllabic form out your way, rather than the multi-syllabic pronunciation in the SW.....and that it's meaning is totally different??????

INTERESTING!!!!!!!!

Ken J,
I am new to the forum. We are waiting the delivery of our 2 year old 16' Bambi. Is it possible for us to squeak into the 2008 Albuquerque Balloon Festival? We won't take up too much room...
