Thursday

Richard and I will becoming in on Thursday! It will be the second time out for our new, old Caravel. Count me in on the lobsters, and I'm dying to ride my bike on the canal trail. Does anyone else have and interest in riding bikes with us?

Also for those of you not going to Georgetown, Maine...We are doing a rally July 21-23, dry camping, right at the base of the Mount Washington Auto Road, front row seats for the Vintage Care Climb to the Clouds Race. This is going to be some weekend and you will be parked center stage!!

I think I might manamge to make the famous "snowman" into a surfboard for an appetizer. Sorry your going to miss that one Andrea, it's Don's favorite is he going?

For my Beach Blanket appetizer I'm thinking of going with a "Finding Nemo" theme -

Hi!

I'm going to a convention in Portland Maine on the 21st thru the 23rd. Would it be okay if I just dropped by to visit for the afternoon on Saturday? It's sorta on my way back to Virginia.

We rode the canal into the town on the other end last year and had ice cream. Then rode back so it wouldn't matter.... Will bring bikes.

That would be great. May have to pay a couple bucks visitors fee to the gate guy. There is a huge parking lot next to the area where you could park the rig. Just don't go over the bridge.....

Thumbs up I believe we've met before...

Welcome to the forums! (with your new screen name).

Yep, it a beach blanket theme this year. I'm not wearing so stink'n bathing suit but I may hang one on the outside of my trailer just because it's against WBCCI rules and I'm a bit of a rebel.

Kites, Bikes, Fish'n Poles

We'll definitely bring the bikes....we are up for the ride to the other end and the ice cream

Don't forget kite flying and fishing! I know a couple of the kids fish off the jetty.

Great place to collect sand dollars.

Does anyone have a handheld GPS? If so would they be interested in doing some Geocaching on the canal? I just found 2 we could look for on our bike trip.
