There was talk of bringing beach like appetizers since cheese whiz and chex mix wasn't very appealing. Packing a picnic for our blankets and eating together sounds right, if I recall. Do we know where we're going to do this.....maybe down at the beach??? or are we going to be totally beatnik, go against the establishment and have our beach blanket party in the field next to the beach?

I like the idea of having our "pardee" right there on the green near riff raff row. Too lazy to carry my stuff very far. What do the rest of you think?

Riff raff row is good for me. Got a lot of tacky stuff that I "need" for the party. Also like to be near the generators so we can light our flamingos.

Possible Sites Available

Just heard there may be two additional spots added to the field. Contact the hosts. There is a wait list started, so don't hesitate to send an application in and/or contact the hosts directly. See the New England Unit Quipper for more information.

Hi All,

For those interested Earl is selling his Honda 1400 watt generator. Been used twice. PM me for info. It guarantees a spot on riff raff row!

Beach Blanket Bingo Scusset Beach!!!

We are there! Being a child of the 60's I of course have all of the Gidget (God, help me) movies. I don't have a bikini, I don't have the shape for the bikini, but I think I can get into the mu-mu Gidget's mom wore for their trip to Hawaii in "Gidget goes Hawaiian." Will that do or is it too frumpy?

I think I might manamge to make the famous "snowman" into a surfboard for an appetizer. Sorry your going to miss that one Andrea, it's Don's favorite is he going?

Lobsters will be available for Saturday night dinner

For those of you planning ahead for your Saturday meal, I just wanted to let everyone know that we are planning on picking up lobsters again for Saturday night for anyone interested. The way it works is as follows:

1) Sign-up sheet will be available during the event
2) You sign-up for how many 1.5 lb. lobsters you would like to purchase
3) I order the lobsters locally and they are boiled for us just prior to picking them up
4) We get a discount price and your final price is determined by the total order price divided by the number of lobsters ordered times the number of lobsters you order. You can pay me when you get your lobster at dinner.
5) BYOB (bring your own butter) and crackers

Anyone else going in on Thursday? It's sushi night and wine for me.

There's talk of ordering lobsters for Saturday night. So, is Friday the beach blanket retro thing?
