Do you have to have reservations for the International or can one just show up? Any caravans still or going to start en route? I am in Michigan, am checking the possibility of taking off Monday.
Carol,
According to the latest Blue Beret, you can register on site. Call Jackson Center to confirm. They may know about caravans also. Other that that check the Blue Beret for caravan info and the Vintage Airstream Club site.

OK called JC and you're right I can register on site. I am looking for a caravan, thought there was one going through Wisconsin, or that the Mid East Michigan unit had something going. I could try to catch up or just go it alone. I may take a day trip to Silver Falls when I am there too! Hey everyone, don't start before I get there, ok?
I know there is a link for who is attending (we are one). However it might be nice to have your WBCCI number by your name. That is if you have one and if it can be done in the message.

2air,
If you want a neat 2laner in Oregon off I-84, try highway 26 out of Ontario, OR or hwy 7 out of Baker City to hwy 26. The drive thru the John Day river valley is spectacular, esp by Strawberry Mtn. There is also a neat campground called Clyde Holliday SP just west of John Day. We took this route to Kansas recently and came back the same way. Hardly any traffic and good roads (much more scenic and better road than hwy 20 to Burns).
As far as meeting forum members, we're going to visit the members at Silver Falls one night, so you're welcome to tag along with us if you are up to it. Of course, it might offend you to ride with a couple of Wildcats!
Darol Ingalls, the host for the Silver Falls rally hasn't designated an official visit evening for wb'ers at their campsite yet. Maybe they can pick an evening to have us all up there!
BTW.......We'll be in the "generator with pets" section and have our AIR stickers on our CCD. #3538
It'll be great to meet you and all the rest of the AIR folk!
