Pam and I will be parked in the 30-Amp Vintage Section. We'll arrive with the VAC parade and be staying through 7-5. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!!!
The Vintage Parade will be taking place on the morning of Monday, June 27th -- the precise arrival time at the parking area is a mystery to me, but the line-up time at the pre-rally site is at 8:00 a.m. with the anticipated departure from the pre-rally site being 9:00 a.m.
The Vintage Airstream Club Open House and Councours d'Elegance is scheduled to run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29th.
This year's International promises to be fantastic! Hope that you are able to make it for the parade as it is always a memorable experience.
Kevin
"THEY" say the Vintage parade must arrive at the Rally site by 10:00am otherwise, we miss our queue for caravan arrivals.

Does anyone have info on the Caravan Training Sessions. Like what days and contact info of the person doing it.
Here's what I've found out...
Tuesday, June 28th from 1 - 4 is a 'Caravan Disscussion Session' in the University Plaza Kansas Room C
This is the first day of the seminars, so if there are more to follow in the week, you would find out about them there.
There are 4 pages of seminars & activities....I didn't bring my scanner, and it'd be way too much to re-type. If anybody has a specific interest, PM me & I'll look it up. I'm only able to pick up messages when I leave the rally site...which won't be too often after things really get rolling on Sunday for me, when the vintage gang arrives ~
If you are comking by, stop by Gold-06 Trailer #1824 before Sunday noon or in the 30 amp Vintage (Section/# TBD) after Monday noon.

Thanks to help from Mark (j54mark), we have group dinner reservations at Nonna’s, Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. They will put us in their upstairs room. That should give us plenty of time to eat and visit and still make the 7:00 p.m. announcements at the Expo Center, which is only half of a mile away from Nonna’s.
Please let Shari or me know if you are planning to join us at Nonna’s, since we will need to call them Tuesday afternoon with a head count.
I will leave for Springfield tomorrow morning and should be in about dinnertime. I will be staying with a friend in Blue 1, Row 3, 31082. Look for my gold Infiniti; it will be one of the few cars parked among the trailers and motorhomes.
I will have forum member buttons; I’ll give a bunch to Shari, and a bunch to Rich when he gets there. So if you are in the Vintage section, look for Maxwell or Vintage Thunder and get a button to identify yourself to other forum members.
Trailer is loaded and the fridge is cold. We are pulling out from home at 8:00 tomorrow (Sunday) morning. First night stop at Mt. Pleasant, TX KOA and a second stop at Turpentine Creek, near Eureka Springs. TC is a rescue facility for lions and tigers and they have put in 8 RV spaces close to the over 100 big cats that live there. We will get to hear the big cats talk at night. From there, we should pull into the raly site around noon.
I have been wearing my forum button and bracelet to all of our unit get togethers. Lots of comments.

Since I recommended the place, I'd better be on hand as well. Count my wife and I in as 2 more.
Please be aware that Nona's is downtown, and there is no dedicated parking lot. You should be able to find on-street parking close by, however. PM me if you need detailed directions.
Please let Shari or me know if you are planning to join us at Nonna’s, since we will need to call them Tuesday afternoon with a head count.
I have left the Rally grounds and am on my way to the Ozark Fairgrounds for the day/night. I will parade in with the vintage units Monday morning and will try to post my exact location after we get settled.

I was not present at international, but I am curious to know if there was a decision made to hold future international rallies or not.
Doug
There are already many hundreds of pre-registrations for the 2006 International in Salem, Ore, and the site has already been chosen in Georgia for the 2007 International. My wife worked at the table pre-registering folks.
The proposal to do away with Internationals as they are now set up is a set of ideas thrown out by one person to start a discussion. They carry no weight beyond that. Our Region 9 President, Jerry Larson, was elected International 3rd VP at this International and he is definitely not in favor of making any major changes in the International, at least in the near future.
