Yup just joined up

I was at a cheaprvliving.com rally at quartzsite AZ, met this cool guy with a Bambi that calls home Yuma, got me inspired to get another airstream so I am looking.

A 25 footer is probably a good idea. That 2007 bambi on ebay for 5K would be challenging.

Welcome to the forums! I love San Francisco and try to get up that way at least a couple times a year. Love the Giants! If there is a 2007 Bambi on Ebay for $5000, it is either a scam or it's wrecked. Scammers LOVE to work their magic with Airstreams.

And I hope you find one soon. It took us 1.5 years of solid looking to find the right price and condition balance for us. Guy we bought from has a '68 30' for sale now as well. There is a dealer down near you that always some too. Make sure you read the Sacramento Craigslist ads as well- more gets listed up there than in the Bay Area. Good luck and hope to see you soon!

We are in Palo Alto and had to go to Oregon to get our Safari. It wasn't too bad of a drive because it was in Southern Oregon. Seems that many Airstreams in California are over priced. People think they can get 20 grand for an airstream that has been sitting in a field for 40 years. They don't understand that it takes close to 20 grand to re-do one and that is if you do all the labor yourself! I would highly recommend searching Craigslist via a search engine. I google "craigslist search" then click on Search tempest. After writing in "Airstream" you can pick a radius of how many miles you are willing to travel to pick it up. Than open the search window or search results. Then you can look at all the cities/counties in your radius.
