Becky, Fran & I arrived at Wine Country Rv Resort to find many Airstreams still here from the rally they had here over the weekend. This is a lovely park. I managed to get into town today, did some tasting, bought yet another case of wine and some fabulous cheeses. Becky and Fran had to take off this morning after breakfast, wishing them safe travels home.

We have two more gatherings in the works. One for September in SoCal and the annual in March further north. We will work to get you all the info so you can mark your calenders!

Hi all,
What great photos! (After I post this, I want to go check out Alison's too

) We had such a fantastic time. It was so wonderful to be there and to meet everyone.
And, as news to all except Meredith, we even got a little extension to our vacation. (Seriously and amazingly, it was actually relaxing and nice... ) we got to hang out at the dump station with the view of the lake for about 3 hours to get a flat on the trailer changed. We even got a little sunburned laying in our lounge chairs reading!
It feels great to have a second trip under my belt as the gal at the wheel; thanks again!

Hello all you female Airstreamers, I was following your thread and thinking about my friend Kristiana and how much fun you girls were going to have, I offered to be cabana boy but no takers. We spent the week in Merebith back yard in Lake Cachuma which would be an excellant location for a womans rally or a combo rally what do you think?

Hi.
The Silver Sisters have rallied at Lake Cachuma as have the CA Streamers on a few occasions.
It's a great spot with lots to do in the surrounding area.

And the best part is there are no reservations so everyone can just show up and find a spot.
(a little trickier in the summer and holiday weekends which is why we pick off season
like spring and fall)

A combo rally would be great...pick a date and start a thread!

Please give me some dates that would work. Now the temp is great in the 60s summer is hot. There is lots to do for sure plus we can offer sailing and sitting at anchor in the harbor drinking those cocktails for those not wanting to get sea sick, not to mention some fishing for a party of 5 on the lake. We have the toys

Why don't you start a new thread for a late spring Lake Cachuma Rally and you'll get some responses.
I'm sure there will be some interest and ideas for dates but most people would likely not be looking here.

We should also get a thread going for our two other events. The one at Lake Casitas in September and March in Coloma. Any volunteers? I believe Kristiana was going to look into the campground in Coloma there on the river but not sure if she wants to head the thread.
