Mikethefixit, Roger and Mary Lou, congratulations on your new Airstream and glad you joined us. Pumpkin, Lucy and ?? (sorry I forgot) are quite the set. It's so cute to see Lucy led on the tether and glad she gets to enjoy herself camping. Now that you have met us don't be a stranger! Great meeting you and hope the next rally is not too long away!!

Thanks Diane. I can only hope to aspire to progress but I do enjoy taking pictures. I am looking forward to seeing Dave's professional pictures. I love looking as much as trying. But then you subjects are the real interest. As they say, "Take a picture it lasts longer!" And that is precisely what I love to do, capture the good times and savor them over and over. Thanks for being good sports and models.

AirsDream, Ryan, thanks for coming out. Also congratulations to you on your new Airstream. You really have a looker. Everyone thinks it is brand new and it is oh so spacious and pretty. Here's wishing you many many happy trips in it, and very cool brand new truck as well. So see you soon at some other Michigan/Ohio rally to be sure, alright?! However if the trip is very far you may want to use at least one hand to steer, (notice double thumbs up in the truck!!)

BrockLives, Brock and SilverMoon, Holly moon, my apologies for missing photo ops so I beg a "DO OVER" from you both, all I can say is you must have been in stealth mode and moving quickly... Tell you what, next time bring the Airstream and I will have a bigger target not to miss. I enjoyed meeting you both but time was way too short to satisfy me so make it a point to extend me that raincheck, please, okey dokey?

Holly, thanks for spelling me with cooking my breakfast so I could dress, talk about hectic mornings, lol. Nice having coffee with you. I definitely owe you a favor.

Brock get that kayak adventure planned, if you build it, we will come.

Some general shots and with that I bid you all a fond farewell and a very good night.

What a great bunch of pictures, and a great bunch of ladies (men & puppies too, & hamster)!

Thanks to Laura for being a super hostess! Caravel = 17 feet of awesome, even though I can't figure out the fridge.

Holly Moon, my alter ego you made an excellent area tour guide, must run in the family. The caverns were spectacular!

Steph's something else - temp tats, kayaks, skates - does it get any better? Well, we could have been chased by that goose.. Thanks for making me feel right at home!

Sharon, you're a real renaissance woman! Loving the wine & tunes, as well as hearing your plans for the LadyBug!

Carol & Shinim, great cooks and each of you have such sparkling personalities! PB pie and hot wings.... YUM! You guys have to teach me!

Barbara - super cool '73 - loved touring her and sharing your lovely pictures and stories!

And I have to ditto everyone else - Diane & David, you guys are super interesting and such an inspiration!

We have to keep you guessing

For the guys - Luigi Galvani was the frog-leg guy. I looked it up as soon as I got home! Now if only I can find out what the green airplane coating stuff is..

Hey I see they are on for half price - so I am ordering a box - I can return the favour back when you come for a visit Laura Just showed my friend across the road and she thinks they are really cool.

Well one more evening and we will be in the thick of the hearing tomorrow...I hope that I will have use for the flashing ice cubes in some HUGE celebratory drinks real soon.

Everything is out of the LadyBug and all over my house right now - I never knew we could put so much stuff into a trailer of that size

I think that will be the last time I sub in the curtains from the Excella - so If anyone is looking for a really nice set of Airstream curtains - I will be putting them up in the Classifieds next week sometime, I think... (they are out of the 28' Excella Classic Cream with sage green trim)

Ok here is the procedure for making the pickled garlic some of You liked.

Fill a Glass jar with fresh garlic and cover completly with rice vinegar or white vinegar. Let set for 3-4 days
Pour off the vinegar and refill with vinegar again. Let set another 3-4 days.
(hopefully for the next step You have paid attention to how much vinegar it took to fill the container)

Mix soy sauce (Find a Asian Market and buy a Korean or Chinese soy sauce ,La choy or Kikoman just don't taste the same and come in much smaller containers) Vinegar and sugar to taste. Make double the amount that the vinegar alone took to fill the jar.

Boil this mixture and reduce it by half. Fill the jar covering the garlic and wait 3-4 months.

Enjoy
