It never hurts to try. Some dealers already do that perhaps it's done. They have the technicians on staff and the product costs little. Call them with your concerns about the corrosion issue. You may have paid for it but you have not taken possession of it. ??? Otherwise just make it a nice project for the good weather to really bond with your baby and give her the real going over when you get back and are settled. I didn't think to ask them to do mine either. I equate for asking the bike dealer to throw in a good chain. You are a good customer.

Hi Holly,
Carol and I decided that the weather might be a bit chilly to set up the stamping stuff at the picnic tables like we did last year during the summer. So our idea was that I will cut card stock and bring envelopes. I have about 3 AS trailer stamps and some other "camping" themed stamps. I will stamp a sheet of each type and then run them off. I will bring some ideas for a "spinner" type card and put together a little kit that will get everyone started. Kind of like a make it and take it. Then if we have bad weather, or no room to stamp together, we can still get some good ideas and do our own "thing". Do you have any good ideas to steal??? LOL

We're dewinterizing and cleaning the trailer. Just loading up my cooking gear
Why is it more fun to clean the trailer than the house???

I'm getting real excited now with only 11 more sleeps til we hit the road - with a completely empty trailer!!! with a duck taped AC shroud cause it got sucked off and air borne in a windstorm a month ago or is that two months ago now.

But Hey I have an AC that has a heat pump and it works - so the AC will be fine for the hot flashes and great to keep us warm if the nights get cold.

Girls will be with us - Taz and Haily - anyone afraid of dogs no worries with these two....Taz is loud of the mouth - but then she takes after her Mom

Heading to Airstream Factory for Friday (before) to pick up parts - may stay the weekend and then head to The Camp Ground.

Still thinking on that menu list Taco Bar and Pot Luck - but I will add 'Canadian Back Bacon" for the breakfast....And you can count on the Wine bring lots to share.

pssst yep got'em on the list Laura - won't forget the Kit Kats

Hey Lynda - not had the experience of buying a new one yet - but really don't sweat the small stuff in life - just enjoy life while you have the opportunity - it is only money - what is that saying - life is priceless or something like that anyway....in my mind life is too short is what it is all about - reach out and grab it and don't look back. Never second guess yourself...

PS we bought a Kia brand new - way too much then bought a trailer way to heavy - lost big time on the Kia gained big time on the Airstream Experience - Sold it bought another - still having a blast on the Airstream Experience Just watching them sit on our Driveway everyday excites me

Corrosion smosion - not like it is going to fall apart in your life time....

Here is a Big HUG make that a Big Canadian Bear HUG, Kick up the butt and a pinch of the cheek - now you are all better and ready to load her up and head out when the time comes.

Had my first brand new car driven along a chain link fence by Peter, then my next brand new car - first day in a driveway a ford 150 took out the entire drivers side from the front quarter panel to the rear spoiler....dodo happens...so you can either spend time waiting for dodo to happen or you can get busy making the dodo's..... - LIFE

Hey ctDair and Mikethefixit - big Welcome - been hibernating for a bit and missed that you are coming out - that is really great - you /we will all have a lot of fun. Look forward to meeting all.

Suz are you checking in? Are you going to drop in can ya can ya oh please!!!

Hey Towdaddy (Vickie & Danielle) we are sure going to miss you two a real whole lot. Glad you dropped in to say hello - that was a real nice surprise on the catch up reading tonight..... when I saw your post. Sure hope we get to visit sometime.

Holly and Holy - silver this and silver that - like frick and frack how is a girl to keep all the names straight.

Sure wish I still had my HoneyMoon Hat

and better yet sure wish I was that trim.... That would be Cancun Mexico a mere 25 years ago - YIKES....

Getting in the spirit for some real cool Mexican treats - maybe that is what I will look up Mexican Deserts - had a great one at a neat restaurant near the Fantastic Fan Place last year - (Annie what was that dish that we shared - YUM YUM)
