Hey ladies,
Here's a link to temp tatoos my speed anyway like the ones kids put on and wash off with baby oil
Rosie the Riveter Home Front Store
I can't disturb grandma's eternal rest by getting a real tattoo, sorry. Those old gals programmed me back in the 1960s too late to change the software...

Yep- that one is do-able. We will have to do push-ups before the photo so we all look buff! Not to say we already aren't!

You know, I think I am going to have to stick to nicknames or real names so I won't get confused when I finally meet you guys. I am name challenged anyway, so I hope no one minds answering to "hey you"!
When is everyone planning on arriving? Friday? Thursday night?

Hey, nice to meet you Holly!
I'll probably be a Friday evening arrival, maybe earlier, but right now it doesn't look like I can get Friday off work.
Tats?! How have I missed tats!?!

The Rivette shirts are still online here http://www.cafepress.com/rivettes There are more styles of shirts and more things like tote bags and mousepads and aprons etc. Perhaps Sharon will upload the new graphic for this Spring Rally too.

Okay ladies - have created a new shop - nothing in it right now - but called it Rivettes08 I will provide a link once we have some items uploaded.
So now the decision - LOGO...
I was thinking maybe make the We can tow it! a little bigger and the date a little smaller - with the border keyline a little thicker...re-sampled below.
Tell me what items you think you would like the logo to go on - I will make a list and create them then get this up for Monday for everyone to order... Should give all enough time before the rally.
Just incase you are wondering about the "Lady Bugs" I know I am partial to them - who would have guessed
The Lady Bug is the official Insect of Ohio and Spring time is when they surface ... so thought it would be nice to add them in
"designers perks "
Speak now on the logo or forever hold your peace... I'll count to a few hundred and start loading up the merchandise later today

No problem - my pleasure...
I just noticed though on the smaller items - it is showing the graphic being cut off - When I created them under create your own and my saved logos It gives me a choice of sizes - but when you create the store it only takes the logo at one size - I will have to correct that - or if anyone wants the buttons or magnets let me know and I can e-mail you the logo so that you can just create your own by uploading the logo....
I will see what I can do later today...

Oh goofy me I keep posting in the wrong thread....
Have the shower ordered! and Peter has the time booked!
So we are planning to leave Friday the 18th staying the week in the area (holiday - so will be looking for things to do) May or may not bring the Kayaks....probably work on the Airstream - needs lots of stuff done still.
Still too cold to polish here....
The girls will be with us so will need places for them to run off lead - any ideas?
Have convinced Peter(Petunia) to bring the tent - just incase you Gals get really gnarly that no other "Guys" show up and he is the only one...so I have already prepped him to vacate the area and tent somewhere else His other alternative would be to buy a new Tow Vehicle and empty the Overlander of all the parts he just took out of the Excella and bring his own Airstream ....the tent went over much better
Can you believe it - he has no problem with my request....gosh I sure did train that one well
We plan on leaving Sunday late afternoon to travel at night and arrive early Monday at home as we have our Land Hearing Tuesday Morning.
So no extra galavanting for me after this Rally - I think I got the nick name with Carol as Thelma and Louise last year - as I did not get home for another 5 days ...
Hey Carol and Laura (with your new camera) get those batteries charged up - we are going to have a Fab weekend of silver sister shots - photographs that is - oh maybe a few shot glasses might come into the picture as well...

Peter was debating the same actually... If he wanted to work on the LadyBug what a better place to do it . He would love to talk shop with the tech people. And he may even dry fit the new shower. I have no idea what he will get done before we leave but I know he will fill his time with busy hands.
There is a big field there so the girls would not mind that at all.
and maybe if there are a few others in the neighbour hood we could congregate and tour the area "beyond" the factory and hopefully not get lost in the corn fields....
Certainly is economical - but we have one issue - we do not have running water per see - but the porta potti is just fine. Are there any facilities in the area?? As we will be tin tenting it. Somehow I don't think he will have my shower operational....

You'd have to take a bird bath in the customer's lounge at JC. Otherwise you could always go back to Poor Farmer's Campground... (I know you enjoyed their facilities so much...) lol
The state parks should have open shower houses April 1st, I think.

Hey if Peter takes out a camping site and stick the Canadian Flag Tent up there we could still use their facilities tee hee - how far away from Airstream is the state park? Did I see that somewhere?
Oh PS Poor Farmers lived up to its name - they could not afford bath house keepers - oh my that place was hmmm not a pleasant memory...And I can not believe that I am agreeing to travel AGAIN with no facilities in this trailer...what does a girl gotta do to get one that works - all of it working at the same time..
