We're just ready for some Texas weather below the upper 90's. Wasn't much fun camping in July in those temps. Come on cold front!

TX Hill country get together

Ya, the first name is Gary. I did call yesterday to get the reservations. Wife goes by B.Ann and she makes a mean baked Bree in the dutch oven "if" we can use charcoal. It usually comes out before the rest of the food and really starts the juices flowing. We're out of Lakeway so nice short drive.

Give 'em a call Frank and Mike. Last I saw a couple days ago there were a few sites left. And it does sound like fun!

Ok, thanks.

We just went online and reserved a space ... so guess we're in. Now to determine our contribution to the pot lucks. If I read correctly on prior posts, main dish is established for each night (ribs on Friday and pizza on Saturday)? We just post here what we will bring as a side dish?

Hi guy's great to have you I will post the update site list tomorrow some time, as we have had some more changes today with new people coming, also tomorrow I will update the food list as I have e mail's to go through and PM's and the prior post. this is going to be a great get together we are going to try and give everyone things to do and see if they are up to it, the wine tasting trip should be a hit and of course Oct fest down the road. I made a gas fire pit so it will appear we have a old fashion wood fire. Now we have had about a 2 hour study rain today but I am sure it is not enough to lift the fire band.

I had planned to come on Thursday for an extra day in the trailer. However, I spent today traveling to Hamilton to see my best friend, Gayland Stephens, who is dying with lung cancer. Folks will remember Gayland as the chairman of several of the Texas Vintage Rallies put on by the Highland Lakes Unit.

Today's trip put me a day behind on some things that have to be done this week. Please change my reservation to arrive Friday. If the very worst happens in the next day or two, I may have to cancel.
