Hey Em, I'm not sure what's around Sweetwater, but a get together sounds great. We won't be able to camp this time, but plan to come up that way Saturday afternoon before the show.

Shameless bump - this should be a great show and Em says there are still tickets. In case folks don't know, Sweetwater is conveniently located off I-75 about 65 miles north of Chattanooga heading towards Knoxville.

We Will Be There!

Danielle and I are planning to see the show. Unfortunately, we will not be able to bring the trailer. We are staying Saturday night only at the Quality Inn and Suites in Sweetwater. We will be arriving early afternoon on Saturday and returning home on Sunday.

Looking forward to the show. We just listened to the Troubs today getting primed-up for the show.

We Were There! Had a Great Time!

The show last night at the Moneta Theatre was excellent! Everyone had a great time! Antsy said he takes his song writing ideas from the world around him and I wouldn't be surprised if someday he writes a song about some of the fans in the audience last night. One gentleman (and I use that term loosely) in the crowd last night was quite a character.

Even though we were not able to create a forum rally around this event we had six forum members in attendance. Maybe next time there will be a rally - warmer weather would be a good start. There's a show (with all the Troubadours) coming up on May 10 in Gastonia, NC. We'll start a new thread for that.

For now, here are some pictures from the show last night.

Oh no! You brought the "gentleman" home!
He is in the background of the ladies photo.

Had a great time. Enjoyed dinner with everyone.

That's No Gentleman - That's My Husband

How's that for the title? Sort of the opposite of "I Married Up." Maybe we could come up with a few key words for the lyics of a new song and send them to Antsy.

I noticed the "gentleman" was in the photo but I don't know enough about picture editing to remove the background. I've been told there is an easy way to crop out unwanted background but that's beyond my skills.

Ladies and Gentlemen (and you know who you are)

Ha! There he is. I think that "gentleman" was on his way for his 9th beer about then. What a hoot.

Dinner was great. We had a wonderful time at the concert. Totally casual, lots of fun, laid back, and easy. Kinda like "Ansty Unplugged".

I have been in contact with Antsy's booking agent about having them play at the Branson Spring Rally. Feedback is overwhelming positive, and I am now tempted to ask about a meet n greet or after party as you looked into.

Bet ya'll had a blast!

Steve

Yep, we did have a blast. Steve, if you can get him for the Branson Rally, you won't be sorry. Antsy and Brian were totally cool, mingled with everyone briefly before and after the concert, then they had to hit the road to Elisabethton that night. It surely wouldn't hurt for you to ask about an after-party.
