Thanks. We had tentatively thought about it last fall and believed that weather would be a deal breaker. Usually at this time of year I shovel snow from our driveway. BUT, sadly we had no snow or rain. Lynn, has just had eye surgery and will be down for a bit. Her vision most likely will not be back entirely by Casini but she's determined to be seen at Casini. She da boss.

Cool Rally Raven

I saw this raven in the Sequoia National Park gift shop. I had to buy him because he was cool. Hand puppets usually are cute things like teddy bears. Here he is hanging out on the truck.

LunaDogMom, we have a similar raven, the smaller version, on a bookshelf in our living room. We had a pair of ravens that, for several years, would land on our deck rail and watch us (just on the other side of the glass, sometimes). I showed them the toy raven once, and the live ones started squawking like mad.

In the News

I drug my parents and the dogs back to Three Rivers for spring break. We had a great time and noticed our rally story was in the newspaper. Here are some pdf files of the story for your enjoyment and for posterity.

PDF's Aren't Loading

I tried to scan the newspaper at work. The scans turn into PDF files. For some reason the scans aren't uploading. I'll try scanning the newspaper at my parent's home later for everyone on their scanner. It can save the files as GIF or JPEG.

Bad photocopier!
