I called to find out which spaces are still open, but they're not open. I'll call first thing tomorrow.
Number 25 is right in the heart of things, but I don't see that 55, on the river, has been spoken for and the campground site list a river site as an option. Decisions, decisions.
I'm inclined to be close and sociable and take 25 if it's available. We'll probably arrive Friday night (I have to work until 3), and leave very early Monday morning.

Yes! So glad you're joining us Barbie!
Site #22 is still open in the rally zone. It is a pull thru with full hook ups. If anyone in one of the farther out sites wants to move in, call Sequoia RV Ranch today. We have to let them know by this Friday so they can release the site if we don't use it. It was one of the original 10 that they blocked off for us.
The campground is not full yet, so if you have friends who want to come, get on it!
See you all soon!

What are people planning to do during the day? I know that many of you have been there before. Do you have recommendations? I'd love to do some wildflower scouting in this area I've never been to.

Barbie,
It's a short drive from Sequoia NP. Many folks visit the park. Three Rivers itself is a small small town. There are a few antique shops.
Three Rivers has a interesting art community. Personally, I love to visit the artist co-op and the galleries in town.
The campground is nestled in the oaks and sycamores so there's good bird watching. I always noticed there seemed to be a lot of hummingbirds around.
We're only about 15 minutes away from Kaweah Lake. Fishing and boating there, of course. There's a huge launching ramp with easy access that you'll pass on the way.
The campground is right on the Kaweah River. There's no limit to taking in the scenery with a cold one in your hand.
If you want to take a nice walk or bike ride, continue down the road past the campground and visit the state's oldest post office. It houses a tiny free library.
It's a relaxing campground perfect for just pulling up a chair and visiting with your friends.

Reiko (SilverWheels@site 54)- Asian cabbage salad

Friday night: Stuffed endives with blue cheese, cranberries and toasted walnuts with a balsamic reduction.
After the way we put down Don's asortment of Hostess Ho Ho's, Ding Dongs, Twinkies and Zingers at the Pinnacles rally a few weeks ago I think we found a weak spot in the groups sweet tooth!

Hi everyone,
Our AS comes home today for 'get-ready' day tomorrow! How about you? We are looking forward to seeing old friends and welcoming new ones to the group.
For those of you who are arriving on Thursday, we'll be meeting up for pizza at the Pizza Factory at 6 pm. You'll see the pizza place on the left just before you make the turn to the on to North Fork Dr. to head to the campground. The pizza dinner is optional as is everything else we do, but you know the more the merrier!

We are almost locked and loaded. Leaving early tomorrow by noon. Going to bring a Turducken that I got a good deal on... Might need to borrow a larger oven though as ours is quite small... We will see you all there!

Our preparations are underway! Tomorrow after work I'll wash the TV and top off with gas. We pick up our AS from storage Friday morning, and will depart directly from there. I see our route from Fairfield takes us right by the Bass Pro Shop in Manteca, so we may have to make a quick stop (if there is such a thing) since we've never been there before. We'll arrive Friday afternoon.. Look forward to seeing everyone then!
