If you are not on the list please post up or PM me. Thank you. 7 days and counting.
1.Bill and family will be there with a 325 Classic Motorhome
2. my friend Joe will be there with his vintage Kin Class C aluminum MH
3. Rodney (who will perform Laser art in the back of the 310 Airstream MH for the Parade) and his wife Lauren will be staying in my 1984 Airstream trailer

Looks like we have at least 15 sites for the rally.
We have three entries for the Blanco Christmas Parade. If anyone else is interested in joining the parade with their trailer or MH, I pretty sure we would be welcomed by the chamber of commerce. Please contact me.

Remember our theme this year
* LIGHT UP THE NIGHT *
Bring lots of stuff to decorate your trailer/MH and campsite.
Lets make this a memorable event!

"Cap-N-Red" aka Red & "BroomH" aka Nancy Childers will be there . We actually got reservations back as soon as we were able to back in Jan. Can't wait to see the group again.

Kevin,
Other than supporting the local businesses and trying to make a contribution to the friends of Blanco SP, because of all the terrible flooding this year, your 17 Caravel is on the main Menu.
We want to see how many Flamingos we can fit on your little trailer.
So, please, if anyone has any Flamingo we can use and/or has any good ideas, this will be a joint effort on Saturday to get the parade entries looking awesome.
Besides that, let's enjoy the hopefully mild Dec weather and all the good company.

As I understand it, the schedule for the Christmas Rally, Non-Rally is sort of like the following:

Friday: Happy Hour at 5 pm, potluck dinner at 6:30 pm, at The Pavilion in the park. There is no sign up sheet for particular food items, your choice. Bring your own plates, utensils, and napkins. We will do the raffle after dinner. Adjourn to campfire. Adult beverages need to be in a "brown paper sack" since this is a State Park.

Saturday: breakfast and lunch on your own, although I will have a coffee pot going in the morning. The activities for the day are decorating the rigs participating in the parade, attending Blanco Market Days, and generally supporting the local merchants. I believe the parade is at 6:30 pm, so I would guess that the rigs that will be in the parade will need to be at the staging area around 5-5:30 pm, but please check with Peter on this to be sure. There are no formal plans for dinner. I think the original idea was that folks could get a bite to eat in town after the parade. We can come back to camp and grill if we wish. I think the parade takes about an hour or so.

Sunday: depart. Check out time for State Parks is 2 pm.

I'll be there!

Chris (with the motorhome) is actually Chris Crawford with his 1991 Airstream 350LE. I'll be arriving around mid-day Friday. I think Peter H initially had my reservation for a Thursday arrival so if there is a need to advise the Texas State park of a later arrival, please let me know as I don't want them cancelling my reservation as a "no show"?

Although we will not have our trailer there, Roseann and I look forward to seeing everyone again. We will be staying at the motel in town so we are close by. We had to do this because I am only 4 weeks post op on my total knee replacement and I did not think I could get in and out of the trailer safely.

Looking forward to having a great time with everyone!

Do not.....

For anyone who has not tasted Peter's sausages....

DO NOT.....

Insert anything in your life that really comes to mind when you are admonished DO NOT.

When you were a kid in the winter....Do not eat yellow snow.

In the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou"...Do not seek the treasure.

Your Mother...Do not get into a car with strangers,

Now, one more...DO NOT try the German Mustard.

At this point, you have all been warned...hopefully there will be Real Ale Coffee Porter on location to ease the inevitable pain for any who do not heed the warning.

Wish I could be there to enjoy the company.

I will also bring some cookies , if I brought the things for S'mor would anyone want to make them?
I also am the holder of last years Pink Flamingo Award for Best Campsite Bribe, I mean decorations. I would like to award that to this years winner, at the Cookie and Cider Campfire after the parade .
Since I have it form last year and we are just making up this years rules, I'll poll the crowd see who they like and then I will pick the winner and next year, when the winner brings it back they can pick the winner......
