OK...ya got us for the movie...and...AND...I found a top hat!!! Now, Bessie may not want to give up her Easter hat, so I may have to let it dangle around her neck, so she might be a bit overdressed, not like some conservative boy scouts I know...or ascot donners...still in the big T-town, and will hopefully bounce thru Q before the Slab...a slab on the back is a good thing, and a slab in the face is never forgotten...

Sign me up for the movie...I'm in.
I hope the lines aren't too long and there are still prime seats available.
I'd hate to have to sit directly behind Srappy's big hat.

We're over two weeks into our maiden voyage and things are going quite well! We're in Tucson now at Catalina State Park (excellent!) and still on target to see you all on the slabs come the 21st. Heading to Lost Dutchmen State Park on Friday to meet some friends and then will make our way west.
Woo Hoo,
DK

Hi DKAir,
Why not stop by Quartzsite on your way, you can stay here free for 2 weeks. They have a flea market here that has everything you need and don't need. We are in long turm parking that would cost 20.00 for a week. pm me if you think you might stop and I will give you our phone # otherwise see you at the slab.

DK,
We're in Tucson at Prince of Tucson RV Park...leaving today for Q-town...might take us a couple of days to get there from here. Ya gotta try Picacho Peak SP...beautiful area, great hiking, excellent facilities, and friendly staff...of course, a little farther north of Catalina is Biosphere...and the prison store in Florence is fun...see you at Q or the Slabs, or both...m

We're still at Lost Dutchmen, but will be heading west tomorrow AM. Our plan is to stop in Q for the afternoon and night. If anyone is there still, we would love to meet up and then maybe caravan to Slab City. I'll drop a couple PMs with my phone number as I know there's not a lot of time and will also check back here tonight or tomorrow AM.
In any case, we'll be to the Slabs on Friday.

Hoping
We were hoping to find out that Michael had made it back to Slab City for the rally. Are you "home" again, Michael??
We hope that you made it home in time for the rally!

I made it along with about 7 others, met some new Airstreamers, Michael was the man for the event.
Slab City is a one of a kind place, almost an attraction, not for the faint of heart. Saturday night's foray into the midst of the local night spot (which included varied musical groups) was a thing to remember.
We missed you Scrappy.

"We missed you Scrappy."
Thanks, I missed me too, and I wasn't there...maybe that's why we all missed me...
Michael, I hope you do this one again...we will try to catch you there before April...Bryan is trying to leave tomorrow for your environs...all the folks here in Q(all 500, 000 of 'em) said to tell you "HI"...m

How about someone giving us the real low down on Slab City.
Is it a unique place that attracts interesting characters that enjoy an eclectic lifestyle, or is it a haven for felons, drug addicts, and psychotics.
I enjoy unique. I avoid real danger.
