I enjoy unique. I avoid real danger.
I have no idea how many from column A and how many from column B, but you do realize that both could be true at the same time, right? Even about the same person?

The wife and I are now back on the grid. We enjoyed our time at the rally, loved meeting all the new people and will definitely remember the experience. Thanks a ton to Artstream for putting this together!

You'll find all kinds at Slab City. It's really like the diversity of any larger city, just a little, okay a lot, more out there for everyone to see. Overall, very nice folks, loved talking to Lenard at Salvation Mountain and would do it again. I feel you need to be mindful of our surroundings and safety, but that's true wherever you are.

We're now on our way up to the Sedona/Cotten Wood area for some hiking and what not. Talk to you all soon!

It is unique and quirky...kind of like Mad Max goes to the trailer park with some tourists thrown in.
I never felt in danger and everyone I talked to was pretty nice.
Sure there were some odd characters but that's true at any Airstream Rally.

Michael was a great host and even provided us with our own souvenir maps.
Friday night movies were fun and the Saturday Concert with the locals...well it just
defies description.

I sadly missed Scrappy and Co. Sorry they couldn't make it. However we did toast him with
an appropriate beverage or two.

All in all big fun. I say, if you want to explore the Slabs, by all means do so.
Just bring a few of your own friends.
