Sorry to hear that but sometimes those things happen. Was really looking forward to meeting a "virtual" neighbor and seeing that vintage AS. maybe sometime down the road.

I don't know, what did you say?

It is a 5 hour drive and my wife will not be able to get off work Friday anytime soon enough to get along. So I blame her.

We will be at Blanco in Dec if any of you are there.

It looks like we are sadly canceling. Johnny has been on turnaround and it doesn't look like it will complete before next weekend. So he is continuing to work 7 days a week 14 or more hours a day per week. What a birthday 😥. We will miss a great time we know. Hopefully see y'all in Blanco in December.

We're still coming! There's two of us, my son and I. I'm still trying to talk my wife into coming.

Mgriffrus, tell her to put something in your AS then lock her in! She can't say no then. LOL

If you only knew. Heheh. My neighbor and her daughter were locked in our AS for an hour and a half one afternoon. The wonderful door handle is broken, they went over one afternoon while we were out to shut the windows during a quick storm and the wind blew the door shut. She didn't know how to use the screwdriver (we're high tech here) to get out.

I'm still working out how to fix that. Luckily she thinks it's funny now.

Unfortunately, we are going to have to cancel out as well. We have a problem with intermittent electricity in our trailer, due to a faulty relay in our power supply (called an ATS301 - Paralax automatic line generation switch). We are currently working to get it fixed, but won't be up and running in time for next weekend's rally. I'm bummed about it, but there is always next time. I was so looking forward to going. We were reserved in spot number 87.

Take care.

Hate to hear that. Seems like that's been happening to quite a few people. Wonder how long mines going to last.

Do you have 2 power inlets (front and side-rear)? That's the setup with the weak transfer switch it seems.

Yep. I've got the same trailer as TrailDog except he has twin beds.

Hopefully if it's gonna happen it happens in the next 11 months before my warranty is up.

Down to the last couple days. Have you decided if you're coming, even if solo??

Just a couple days away from the rally. Don't know about all of you but I'm ready to hit the road. Weather is looking pretty decent, I wish it was a little colder but I'll take it:

Friday: Hi 82 / Low 59 20% chance of rain
Saturday: Hi 80 / Low 64 20% chance of rain
Sunday: Hi 81 / Low 55 30% chance of rain

We've got a pretty good crowd going. Here's what I have so far:

Forum Handle Site# # of People
bike_addict 76 2
goal15 75 2
Jim J 79 ?
wooden rivet 72 2
protagonist 69 1
sphere guy 74 2
mgriffus 71 2
LC 77 1
screamstream 62 2
srmontgomery 80 2

So that's 10 trailers and 16 people + JimJ's crew. Did I miss anybody?

I'm going to call in the catering tomorrow probably. Jump in if I missed someone.

And I did get the pavilion reserved for Saturday. We should be good to go.
