Joshua and Emily got the meat in Jasper and hopefullu the collection we took up after the potluck offset the cost. If you did all catered but dessert and drinks, as long as people knew approx what their share was I think folks would be okay with that

We would go for full meat and sides. We will bring an appetizer, drinks and likely a desert.

We're good with full catering. Since she is the cook, Patti is really good with it.

I barely cook well enough to feed myself, and even then, only if it's in the "heat and eat" category, nothing from scratch. I'm afraid that if I tried to cook for others, I'd be arrested for attempted manslaughter. I vote for full catering.

And the count so far seems to be, full catering = 5, meat only = 0.

How many do we need for a quorum? Those who haven't chimed in on the issue, exercise your constitutional right to vote, and let your voice be heard!

Ok, I'll chime in too. I'll go along with the group and pitch in for full catering. Last I looked, there were 12 sites reserved. Does that sound correct?dont forget me, way over on the peninsula! My 2 cats chose that spot! Ha. A friend from Houston said she was going to join me, so I'll have 2 people, 2 cats!

With 12 sites reserved, and seven responses in favor of full catering, we have a majority opinion, and the decision seems to have been made. Full catering it is.

Saturday lunch available.....

Congratulations all for lining up the catering.

Due to a celebration of finally completing our "retirement" residence I will be unable to visit Mill Creek over the weekend.

During the weekend ralley at TAHI (Texas Airstream Harbor, Inc.) there will be an open house to include all Airstreamers and the Contractors involved in the building of our new home base at 28 Magnolia.

See this link for directions to 28 Magnolia in the park:
Texas Airstream Harbor, Inc.

I am offering up to the Mill Creek Airstream Campers a New Orleans style light lunch Saturday afternoon consisting of Jambalya, Turkey and Sausage Gumbo, and possibly Meat Ball BarbeQue nibblers (depending on responses from invitees). Adult and non-adult beverages and snacks will be served.

Please make plans to drive across the lake to visit TAHI and help Mary and I celebrate our new lifestyle.

I'd be interested. If I can bum a ride from someone. That's the downside of owning an Interstate. Once I set up camp, I can't go anywhere without breaking camp again. Not until I trade in my other vehicle for a small toad, anyway— which won't be until a couple years from now when my finances have recovered from buying the Interstate.

Looks like it's full catering. Everybody can bring an appetizer or a dessert if you want.

We're down to two weeks so lets get a head count. How many are everybody bringing?

You can either post it or email me. I know last year we had a couple that follows the forums but doesn't post so email me if that's the case so I can get a count. Email is ron@wayne-ent.com.

Looking forward to it. Just got back from a weekend camping in Coldspring so I'm ready to head back out.
