We made it safely home. We even stopped to have the AS inspected.

Many THANKS to Ronnie and his dear wife for hosting "The Sequel".

We now have more friends and it's always good to see our old ones.

Thanks to Frenchy and Steve for the pot luck on Friday night.

Jim, I hope you got the chocolate off of everything!

We tagged with Carol on the way out and down the road, and we left Dana and Olga to hold the fort down. There was a drastic shift in the weather last night, but the stragglers had foresight and buttoned down last night. That was a good thing as it was cold and a direct wind right off of the lake.

We hope everyone else made it home safely as we'll!

We really had a great time everybody. I'm so glad everyone came. Sorry I wasn't the most social in the evenings but once we got Jack wound down and asleep I just couldn't bring myself to get up and going again. I always passed out soon after. Getting over this cold had me whooped!

See everybody down the road.

I enjoyed it. This was a nice introduction to rallies, and I'm already looking forward to Part 3.

Well I had a blast and Justin has assured me he had a great time also! The park was nice and it definitely made the short list on a revisit later - especially on a rally #3. One of these days we'll e able to have the whole family together for one of these things, we won't be trying to go three different ways at once.

Next stop, Canopener!

It was hard to miss if you went that way.

I saw a sovereign in a body shop parking lot down closer to Jasper, it was a rear bed model. I didn't get out and go look at it, though. Was that the one, or did I completely miss an obvious one closer to the park?

That's the only one I saw on 96 south of the park.

No idea, but if it's on the Veterans' Day weekend again, I could make it. I've already put in my request to take off from work November 8th through 11th.

You know, I wondered about that myself earlier. Now that Justin's in high school, he's tied up on Fridays for football games (band, not a football player) so it might be a little more difficult for us to make it this year.

You can still make reservations at Mill Creek Park via Recreation.gov, so my guess is that they are open. So far.

Point of interest, the various closures were for Fiscal Year 2013, which ends the 30th of September. Closures for Fiscal Year 2014 haven't been determined yet. For that, we have to wait for Congress to finish with their latest shenanigans.
